*Riley's POV*
Garroth and I met up with Dante and Laurance.
"Hey guys" Garroth said.
They both turned to us and said hi.
Laurance put an arm around my shoulder when Gene walked past. Gene just smirked.
Laurance didn't drop his arm though, and Garroth didn't mind. Neither did I.

We all talked for a bit about our weekends, and I noticed how Garroth kept zoning out and staring across the hall. Of course, Aphmau.

I rolled my eyes but a grin was spread across my face.
Dante teased Garroth about liking Aphmau and told us about times he was acting weird.
All of them also involving Laurance.

I snook a glance at him but quickly turned away.

After school was over I walked out of school and was about to walk over the street when Laurance put his hand on my shoulder.
"H-Hey, I wanted to ask you something.." He said. Stuttering a little.
Cute.

"Sure!" I said smiling at him. He looked down at me and smiled shyly, scratching his neck.

"D-Do you wanna go the festival with me?" He asked.  He closed his eyes, like he was waiting to get hit.

"Sure" I said casually.

"R-Really?" He said opening his eyes in surprise.

"Yup, I'll call you later. I promised my mom that I'd go shopping with her" I said.
I hate going shopping, at least clothes shopping. Putting on pants is the worst.

"Good luck" he said chuckling a bit.

"I will" I said. I turned around, looked both ways. And walked over the street.

I took off my uniform, and stood outside my wardrobe trying to find something to wear.
I settled on a blue tank top, some ripped pants and red sneakers. I let out my hair out of its ponytail and decided to keep it like that. It was slightly wavy.

The doorbell rang and I jogged downstairs. I opened the door and there stood Laurance, with his hands in his pockets.
"Hey" he said looking at the ground then at me. It was a little adorable, I'll admit.

"Hey, shall we go?" I said as I closed the door behind me.

"We shall" he said back, grinning.
He slid my hand in his and I blushed.
"Y-You look pretty" He said looking straightforward.

"You don't look too bad either" I said looking up at him. He looked down and now he was the one blushing.

We arrived at the festival and I squealed. I've always loved festivals.

I gasped, COTTON CANDY.
I dragged Laurance with me to the stand. I love as about to pay for my cotton candy. But Laurance paid first and he smiled, like he won something.
"Hey! You know you don't have to pay for me right?" I said a little confused.

"I know" he said simply. I rolled my eyes.
We were walking to the photo booth when I heard someone calling our names.

"Oh hey Aphmau!" I ran up to her and hugged her. Dropping Laurance's hand in the process. She hugged me back. Then, my smile was replaced with a smirk.

I walked up to my brother that stood next to her and whispered.

"Finally asked her out I see?" He just punched m in playfully on my arm. I giggled and walked up to Laurance again.
I turned around and faced the others.
"I'm just gonna go to the bathroom, don't go anywhere!" They nodded whilst I jogged over to the bathroom.
