Sleeping beauty

*Riley's POV*

I yawned and closed my locker. I leaned my forehead on the locker and yawned one more.

"Someones tired.." Laurance said. Walking up to me and leaning on the lockers.
I looked up at him and smiled a little, my eyes nearly shutting.
"Oscar was in an accident yesterday, I really couldn't sleep" he nodded.
"W-What happened?" He asked.
"He fell down a staircase and hit his head... Right now he's in the hospital and he hasn't woken up" I sniffled. He sighed, and put his arms around me and hugged me.

My head was leaning on his chest, and I felt his heartbeat go fast.
"Don't worry Riley, I'm sure he's going to wake up soon" I nodded and put my arms around his waist, hugging him back.

I yawned once more and he chuckled, we both pulled away from the hug. And I immediately missed his warmth.

He put his bag in his locker and I gave him a look I knew he would recognize.

He closed his locker and raised an eyebrow at my look.
He then sighed and rolled his eyes.
He turned around and I jumped up on his back.
He acted like I was heavy and took some slow steps.

I rolled my eyes and punched him playfully on his arm. He laughed and started walking like he normally does.

With me on his back of course.

I slowly shut my eyes, and sleep took over me.

*Laurance's POV*

I started hearing cute little snores and I chuckled. She sure was tired huh?

I walked over to Dante and Travis and they laughed when they saw Riley.

"Wow, did she get any sleep?" Dante asked.
"No, Oscar was in an accident" he nodded.

"Aw, poor angel.." Travis said.
I've gotten used to the nicknames that people call Riley.
I still don't like it though.
Travis smirked.
"So when are you asking her to be your girlfriend?" He asked wiggling his eyebrows, I blushed.
"W-What? I thought you liked her?" I asked.

"I do, but as a friend. So have you?" He smirked.
"N-No, I don't like her in that way" I looked behind my shoulder and saw Riley's hair covering her face.

"Then why did you kiss her?" Dante asked wiggling his eyebrows.
My eyes widened.
"H-How did you know that?" I panicked. What if Garroth finds out?

"She told me, she's blackmailed by Balto" he sighed.
"Why didn't she tell me?" I asked.

"I don't know, I guess she doesn't want you to worry" he said.

I blushed a light shade of pink.
"It's kind of obvious she cares for you Laurance, and that you care for her" Travis said.

"But Garroth-" Dante rolled his eyes and interrupted me.

"He'll get over it! Your his best friend, he trusts you" I shushed him, and looked over at Riley once more. Still sleeping like a baby.

"Ok.. Maybe I do Like her.." I said still looking at Riley.

"OM MY IRENE FINALLY!" Dante yelled.
Riley woke up and rubbed her eyes. I put her down on the ground and chuckled.
She's so adorable.
"Did I miss anything?" She said.
I shook my head 'No' when Dante nodded.

She tilted her head and raised an eyebrow.
I looked at the ground and scratched my neck.

"I'm still tired!" Riley groaned leaning on me.
Dante and Travis laughed.
Not at Riley, but at my red face

After school Riley and I walked over to my home. It's our 'Laurley' night. Isn't the name amazing? I came up with it myself.

Even though it was my turn to choose the movie, I wanted her to choose.

She's had a rough day, and I really want her to be happy.

"So, what are we watching?" I asked Riley.
She raised an eyebrow.

"It's your day remember?" She asked.
"I know. I'll just choose next week. You've so down ever since Oscar went to the hospital, I want to see that smile of yours" I said. She smiled, a light blush in her cheeks.

"Alright then" she said. She chose a movie and sat down next to
Me on the couch.

I did the classic yawn, and put my arm around her. She giggled and leaned on to my chest.
I felt my heartbeat go faster and a grin spread across my face.

Only after a few minutes, Riley was asleep again.
I played with her hair, pushing it behind her ear.

Cadenza opened the front door and dropped her bag and coat. She looked at me and said hi, she walked a few steps but the walked back and looked at The sleeping Riley.

"Oh my Irene You guys are so cute!" she Fangirled as quietly as she could.

"We're not together Cadenza!" I whisper/yelled so 'sleeping beauty' wouldn't wake up.

"Well you should be!" She took a picture, squealed and then ran up the stairs. Probably to her room.

I sighed and continued playing with Riley's hair. She looked so peaceful.
