Riley's POV*

So..
Laurance told me everything about the love cookie, thing.
I feel so bad for Dante, he must have felt really awkward.

I opened my locker and put all my stuff in it.
I closed my locker, and was about to walk to class when I bumped in to someones chest.

I looked up and I sighed.
"Hey Balto" I said.
"Not happy to see me, Riles?" He said leaning against the lockers.

"What do you want?" I said.
"a date" I rolled my eyes and tried to walk past him, but he just stepped in front of me.

"Balto, I'm not interested. Sorry" I said honestly.

"Oh but I bet you're interested in this" he smirked pulling something out of his back pocket.
It was a little folded paper.

He unfolded the paper and gave it to me.
My eyes widened.

It was a picture of Laurance and I kissing in the hallway. Both of us slightly blushing.

I looked up at Balto.

"How did you get this?" I asked.
He just smirked.

"That doesn't matter, what DOES matter is that I know you don't want Garroth to see this..do you?" I glared at him.

"I'm not going on a date with you" I said.

"Oh well, how about be mine?" I slapped him across the face.

"NO!" I said. He chuckled, but winced a little.
I walked past him and saw Dante I walked towards him, but Balto followed.

I stopped.
"What do you want? You got the picture you can just tell everyone" I said.

"I want my pack back, and rumor has it that you're one of the most popular girls in this school. I may not become the Alpha again. But I won't have this low of a status" he said pointing at his face.

"Balto I'm not going to be your little puppet" i Said.

"Oh well, I'll see you later... Riley" he said, walking away.

I raised an eyebrow in confusion.
He's up to something.

He wouldn't just walk away and tell everyone about the kiss, it's not his style. I know that.

Doesn't make me less worried though.

I walked up to Dante.
"Hi Dante" I said.
His eyes widened.
"H-Hey Riley, a-are you ok?" He stuttered. I rolled
My eyes but I smiled.
"Yeah, and the spell is broken. God that sounds cliche" I said. He let out a breath he seemed to be holding.

"Yeah, you were kind of all over me yesterday" he said smirking.
I blushed a faint shade of pink.
"Well I hope you liked it while it lasted, cause it's not happening ever again" I said.

He pouted, but then he laughed.
"Hey, was that Balto? What were you talking about?" He asked. I gave him the photo and he smirked.
"So you and Laurance finally kissed?" He said wiggling his eyebrows.

"We've kissed before..." I muttered, thinking he didn't hear me.

"YOU HAVE?" He yelled. I jumped and put my hand to his mouth.

"Quiet! Do you want the whole school to know?" I whisper/yelled.

"Yes, why do you NOT want the school to know?" He asked.

"Because My brothers will kill him, You know how protective they are! Remember that time you hit on me in the cafeteria?" I said.

"Yeah, all three of them just came charging at me and I'm pretty sure Garroth was like on the other side of school before" he said.

"Plus Laurance is Garroth's bestfriend. I don't wanna ruin their friendship" he nodded.

"Wait, so you guys ARE together?" He asked.

I blushed.
"N-No! We're not" I stuttered.
"He face palmed.
He muttered something under his breath.
"Huh?"
"Oh nothing! Shall we go to class?" He asked linking his arm through mine.

"We shall" I said, laughing.
