*Riley's POV*

We backed away from each other and I blushed. He looked up at me and he bite back a smile.

"Y-You really didn't have to do that" he stuttered, cute.

I looked around and saw that everyone was looking another way, not even noticing us.

I looked back at him and noticed he was staring at me.

The referee blew his whistle and we looked at eachother one more time before walking over to our positions.

Zenix finally put his phone away and walked off the bench.

I played forward with a guy named Jacob.
We both nodded at eachother.

Laurance was behind us, Playing  his usual position midfielder.
The juniors kicked off the game and Jacob and I immediately ran towards them.

*The next day*

*Riley's POV*

So, I have kind of been.. Avoiding Laurance today.

Not that I didn't like the kiss! I actually.. Really liked it..

I'm just scared that I'll be a blushing mess, and that I'm not even going to be able to say a single word.

Right now I'm meeting up with Aphmau.

I saw her sitting by the bleachers and I waved. She put away her phone that she was holding and waved back.

"Hey Aph!" I smiled.

"Hey Riles!" She said.

I sat next to her and we started talking.

"Ugh, I'm so sad that we didn't play against eachother yesterday. Laurance and I were kicking the juniors butts yesterday" I said.

"Really? How did it go?" She asked.

"We won with 4-2, I-" I got interrupted by Aphmau.

"No, I mean how did it go with Laurance?"
she wiggled her eyebrows.

My eyes widened.
"W-What?" I stuttered.

"I know you like him" she smirked.

I paused for a second.
"I don't like-" once again she interrupted me.

"YOU HESITATED!" She squealed.
I face palmed.

I heard something and looked behind my shoulder.
Oh no.
Not now.
I quickly turned back around and panicked.

"How about we sit somewhere else? We can maybe go to the-"

"Hey Riley! Aph!" He yelled behind me. I took a deep breath and Aph smirked at me.

I turned around and smiled.
"Oh hi Laurance".

He walked up to us and took a glance at me, but then looked at something else. Scratching his neck.
I Looked down at my hands that were in my lap.

"Ok.. What happened between you two?" Aphmau said smirking.

"N-Nothing!"
Laurance and I exclaimed.
