*Riley's POV*

I wope up feeling better from yesterday. I know I'm gonna have to talk to Laurance later, since we're in the same class and today is the sports festival. And I'm not gonna lie, I'm pretty excited.

Because I'm pretty darn good at sports, not to brag. I walked with my brothers, forget that about Zane's "I love darkness PHASE". I'm pretty sure it's not a phase anymore. I still remember when he used to wear mum's dress and heals when we were younger. He loved it.

Oh, and I have pictures so you know. I can easily blackmail him.

Laurance was talking to some of his friends when he saw us. He stopped listening to his friend, and me and Laurance made eye contact. He ran over to us and picked me up, hugging me.

"What has gone into him?" Zane said.

"I don't know" Vylad said.

"What happened yesterday?" Laurance asked putting me down.

"Oh, I was just.. tired." I lied. I really didn't like lying to Laurance but I have no choice.

"I was so worried, you didn't answer my calls a-" I shook his shoulder.

"Look, Laurance I'm fine. You don't have to worry about me"

He nodded, but he was still looking at me. Trying to find something.

Garroth coughed. And we both took a step back from eachother.

"So, are you coming? We're playing soccer against the Juniors" Laurance asked me.

"Oh we're beating their as-" I got cut of by Vylad.

"LANGUAGE!" I rolled my eyes but I smiled.

Laurance and I walked over to the people we were playing with.

"I've never actually seen you play before, are you good?" He asked.

"Yeah, probably better then you" I said smirking.

"Oh really?" He said looking down, biting back a smile.

"How about.. we make it a bet. If you can score more goals then me, then I'll do whatever you want for a day-"

"A week" I interrupted. He sighed and rolled his eyes.

"Fine, a week" He said, I smiled proud but then I raised an eyebrow.

"And what do you get if you win?" I asked.

"A kiss" My eyes widened. And my cheeks started heating up.

"W-What?" I stuttered. Really Riley? Stuttering?

"On the mouth" Oh my Irene.

"On the cheek" I crossed my arms.

"I've already gotten one on the cheek" He pouted.

"Then the bet is off" I said with no expression on my face.

"Aww cmon" He pouted. I rolled my eyes and turned around, walking for a bit until I said.

"You got kissed yesterday, go over to her instead" I said. Walking off.

*Laurance's POV*

My eyes widened, How did she find out? I wanted to tell her myself.

"Wait Riley!" I ran after her and found her on the other side of the soccer field

hugging another guy.

They pulled away, and I could see tears streaming down Rileys cheeks. And the one hugging her was..
