*Riley's POV*

"Ugh these, prom posters are everywhere!" I said, taking off the one that got stuck under my shoe.

I was walking with Aphmau through the halls.
"I know right? Seniors and juniors have been hyping about that prom for weeks now, I don't really get it.." She said.

"Yeah, I'm probably the only one not so hyped about it.. Garroth and I are helping one of our teachers and I think we're aloud to have dates.."

(A/N I don't actually know if Garroth is a junior or sophomore. Since he said he was helping a teacher.. I'm sticking with that)

Aphmau squealed.
"Eeeeh! So are you bringing Laurance?" She said.

I blushed.
"N-No... He's not into that kind of stuff.. I think." I sighed.

I may not be into dresses and all that stuff, but.. Ever since I was a little girl I wanted to go to prom. I would actually gladly put on a dress if it meant going to prom. I know I don't have to wear a dress... But I don't know I.. Kind of want to?

"Riley? You zoned out, what were you thinking about?" She asked.

"Oh.. Nothing" I said.

"Anyways.. How's things going with Aaron?" She blushed.

I knew it.

"Has he asked you yet?" I said smirking.

"What do you mean 'yet'?" She shook her head.
"Anyways, a bunch of werewolfs have been asking me to prom lately.. And they keep mispronouncing my name!" She started.

I giggled.

"I know, a couple of guys asked me out-" I stopped.

I looked over Aphmau's shoulder and I
Couldn't speak.

His emerald eyes looking back at me.

"Uhh Riley?" Aphmau waved a hand information of my face.

I broke eyecontact and looked at Aphmau.

"Uhh.. Nothing. Oh I have to tell you! Oscar has woken up!" I said.

She squealed.
"How's he doing?" She asked forgetting about what happened.

"He's fine, I heard he met a new friend too. I havent met her though" I said and she smiled.

"What's her name?" She asked.

"I heard it was Kai, Oscar couldn't shut up about her the other day when we were skyping" I said.

"Oo, a little jelly?" She teased.
I rolled my eyes, but I actually miss spending time with my best friend..

"Oh just admit it, you're soo jelly" I sighed.

"Ok maybe a little.. I just don't hang out with him as much anymore.." I looked at the floor.

"Oh.. Well let's not talk about it if it makes you sad, so who asked you to prom?" I blushed.

"Balto and Jeffory" I said.

"Ugh, I swear that Balto guy is getting on my ner-" she stopped.

"WAIT JEFFORY?!" She gasped.
