The street

*Riley's POV*

I stepped out of the buss on to the hard concrete, not before saying goodbye to the man driving the buss. I walked off to the location Aphmau and decided to meet up at, which was a park. Kids were playing and laughing at the playground, old people were sitting on a bench feeding the birds that would occasionally fly down and peck at the ground. I hugged my own waist and smiled. Realizing that I really hadn't been outside as much as I should. I sighed, but it was cut short when I heard a small cry, only a few meters from where I stood.

I turned around and I saw a little boy with raven colored hair, stand all alone. He was very little and only seemed to be 7 years old or less, and it looked like he was searching for something, or more possibly someone.

I walked up to the little guy and tapped his shoulder. He turned around and I sat down so that I was at his level. His blue eyes had tears in them, and I think I felt my heart melt a little.

"Hello little guy, are you looking for someone?" I asked him. He sniffed and tried to dry his tears with his shirt.

"I-I'm looking for my m-mommy" he said, his voice filled with sobs and hiccups. I sighed and looked around, what if Aphmau was waiting for me? I looked at the boy again. I guess she could wait..

"Do you want me to help you find her?" I asked the little one. He nodded and I smiled, taking his small hand in mine. He couldn't help but remind me of a young Zane.

"So what's your name?" I asked him.
He looked up at me.
"George" I smiled, he seemed to have trouble pronouncing his name, which I found completely adorable.

"Well, hello George, my name is Riley" I said.
"Hello Riley!" He said much happier then before.

George and I walked around the park. Looking for his mother, finally we found her and she scooped him up in his arms and thanked me. She offered me money but I kindly declined, since I really didn't need it. George then waved goodbye to me with a big grin on his face.

"There you are!" Aphmau ran up to me and I could see the rest of the gang a few meters behind her. She hugged me and the others caught up to her.
"There you are, we've been looking for you" Garroth said as he hugged me.

"Yeah, sorry about that" I said.
I looked at the gang and my mom hugged me as hard as she could and showered me with kisses all over my face.

I was not surprised she was there since it was my family's company's street they were all moving to.
"Aww my sweet baby, why haven't you called, or texted, or visited?!" She said still holding me.

"I haven't been feeling so good lately, I'll fill you in later. I just don't really feel like talking about it right now" no way I'm talking about him.

She hugged me once more and after she let go I was almost immediately in someone else's embrace. I smelt the familiar cologne and hugged him back. Of course it was Laurance.

"Hey Laur boo" I said after I realized it was him.
"So we're back to nicknames are we?" He said with a playful smirk.
"Yup" I said grinning.

I said my hellos to everybody else and got hugs from Dante, Travis and even Zane.

Ok I kind of forced him, but hey I'm his bigger sister it's my job.

We all walked to the street where they all were going to move in, and I gasped.
The street was full of beautiful houses on both sides of the street. And I could say I was a tiny bit jealous.

"Wow.." I said.
"Mommy, this is to good to be true! Are you really saying that all these houses are ours for the picking?" Garroth said, looking at the street. Mom laughed.
"Well they're not free silly! There will be a transfer of ownersh-" and that's where I zoned out.

My eyes were gawking over all the houses. My apartment in the city was nothing compared to this!

Mom left after a while and let the othersk go and pick their houses. I stood still, whilst the others ran off except for Katelyn.

"Hey Riles are you ok?" She asked concerned.
"Oh? Yeah I'm fine, it's just..." I took another look at the houses.

"These houses are just... beautiful" I said.
She looked at me and her eyes widened, like they did when she had an idea.

"Hey.. why don't you move in with me and kawaii~chan?" She said in excitement.

My eyes widened.
"W-What? Katelyn that's not possible I-" I stuttered trying to think of an excuse.
"What do you mean 'not possible'? You said it yourself a few weeks ago that you wanted to move out. Plus, you're my best friend and I really wanna see you around more often. And I'm not the only one that does" she said.

My mouth formed an o shape and I thought about it.
"Well, what about Kawaii~chan? Are you sure she would be okay with me moving in with you guys?" I asked looking across the street where kawaii~chan stood. She was looking at a house with a smile on her face.

"Well lets go and ask her!" Katelyn said, she grabbed my hand and we ran to kawaii~chan.

Kawaii~chan got really exited when Katelyn asked her. And she jumped up and down in exitement, of course she was squealing too.

A smile formed on my face and I truly felt happy. I was finally moving out of that hell hole. Maybe I will not be as miserable anymore..
