Embry's POV
"Melissa, just talk to me!" I scream.
"No, tell me why you're always leaving?" She asks raising her voice, not yelling, but just raising her voice.
I look down and sigh "I can't" I mutter looking ashamed, I wish I could, but Alpha's order I must obey; it blows sometimes.
"Well than we have nothing to talk about!" She shouts slamming her door shut. I yell at myself and slam my door shut punching the wall and making a whole. Ohh well I'll re-plaster it tomorrow or sometime I don't care if my wall has a hole or not, it's not that bad.
About a half hour later I walk downstairs and grab and apple from the bowl of fruit. Melissa doesn't even look at me and when she does she sends me daggers.
"Hey, Melissa how about you go to the store with me, yeah?" My mom asks, but in a tone saying it'd be a good idea for you to come. She nods and agrees.
My mom looks at me and asks "Want anything, honey? Or anything special for dinner?" I shake my head and they walk out. I decide to play the Xbox and play Call of Duty Black Ops II. I am so into the game I don't hear the door at first. I hear a knock, more like a banging. I get up and go to the door opening it wide to see Frankie standing there. She looks up at me and all of sudden it's like nothing else matters. It's like I've been lifted up and thrown into heaven and am standing on a cloud. She is so beautiful no gorgeous no she is indescribable. It's like all of sudden gravity no longer exists it's like she is literally holding me to this earth and if she ever leaves I will have to leave to. I will be whatever she wants and whatever makes her happy.
"Hello?" Frankie asks waving a hand in front of me. I zone back into reality and look at her.
"Ohh yeah, Hi" I say stupidly. I am completely dumbfounded as to what to say.
She giggles, ohh that giggle. "Is Meli here?" She asks using Melissa's nickname. I shake my head
"But, you can come in and wait for her. My mom and her just left to the store real quick" I explain and move away from the door so she can step in. She walks in and I close the door. She looks at the t.v and then me and smiles
"Black Ops II?" She asks and I nod eagerly smiling wide like an idiot because she is just talking to me.
"How'd you know?" I ask.
"Brother and the boys, they play it all the time. Bet I'm better than you" She bets and grins slyly and I chuckle
"You're on" She sits down where I was sitting and grabs the controller and looks at the screen so into the game. She's been my sister's best friend since about 5th grade and I can't believe I have never noticed her. The way she laughs and her eyes sparkle when she does laugh. She plays for about 10 minutes and I admit she is better than me and I decide I want to play more.
"Okay, you are better so now can I have my controller back?" I ask nicely
She shakes her head "No, I still want to play" She pouts. I roll my eyes and grab for the controller she holds it above her head, which isn't very high. I grab for it and she leans back and suddenly I am hovering over her as I keep reaching for the controller. Suddenly, we hear someone walk in and both turn stopping in mid laughter just to say hi and keep laughing and fighting over the controller. Finally, I am able to get it out of her grasp and she gets up.
