Jared finds out (Chapter 3)

Embry's POV

            "Embry, you have 5 seconds to run" Jared growls at me. Hey, at least he gave me 5 seconds Paul would've given me none.

            I get up instantly and run out the door. Within a few seconds 5 to be exact, I counted to make sure he didn't lie. Jared, was right behind me well a few a feet behind me but still. I was running and running until I turn to see how far Jared is behind me and slam into a tree.

            I groan. And Jared uses that to catch up to me. "She's my sister!" He yells.

            "Step sister" I correct and regret I do almost instantly.

            Jared phases within a second and so I am not pummeled to death by him. So I phase and leap right over him.

            Jared, please listen" I plead and Jared shakes his head no.

            She's my sister!

            You of all people know I can't control it! She is my sister's bestfriend has been since like 5th grade if I had liked her before don't you think something would've already happened.

            Jared pondered this thought. "Makes it no better" He growls and attacks me.

            I don't want to fight him so I dive under him.

            "Jared" I yell.

            "I know she's my baby sister."

            "Dude, she's a year younger than us"

            "Doesn't matter" He growls

            "Ohhhkay" I mutter.

            "Whatever. All I know is you hurt her I will kill you"

            "Jared, you know I would never hurt my imprint"

            "Exactly. Why would I even want to kill one of my brothers?" He asked with a wolfy smile.

 

My POV

            Embry suddenly runs out of the house from Jared and Jared runs after him. For some odd reason Jared told him he had 5 seconds to run. I turn to run after them, but Paul blocks me in

            "Can't leave, sorry sweetheart" He tells me a smirk and knows I hate being called sweetheart.
