Chapter 16

Embry’s POV

            I was happy for Seth don’t get me wrong, but at the same time I was sad because he didn’t imprint on my sister and I so badly want her to know, but she can’t because she’s not an imprint and it sucks. I’ve lost a sister and I know it hurts Frankie because she lost her best friend, yeah she gained all of us as best friends, but still it’s not the same.

            “Okay, okay Seth put her down” I said after a couple of minutes of them running around the parking lot. He put her down and of course she immediately punched him in the arm

            “Ow” He whined

            “That’s what you get” She said and walked over to me.

            “We going to Forks or Em’s?” Frankie asked because we had been discussing about maybe going to the diner in Forks after school.

            “I say Forks, Em and Sam need some time together” Kim suggested

            “But that means we have to drive all the way over there” Paul whined

            “You can always run on four paws, nobody’s stopping you” Frankie retorted with a smirk.

            Paul just laughed a booming laugh “You got me there little one” He said and punching her shoulder

            “Dude!” Both Jake and I shouted at him

            “Sorry” He said sheepishly and Frankie just laughed

            "That one is gonna leave a bruise" She smiled a goofy smile making us all laugh. We all got into the trucks and drove off to Forks. It was unknown territory for us wolves, we are allowed in Forks, just not past the borderline and the diner is literally right before we actually barely make it. We pull in and get out and walk inside the dinner.

            "Hi there Frank, how are you?" A woman asked

            Frankie responded with "Good, these are my friends can we get a booth?" The woman nodded as her reply and motioned for us to follow her so we did and she sat us in the back corner in a huge corner half circle booth.

            "Here are your menu's be back in a few to get your drinks"

            "Who is that?" I asked.

            "Oh that's Rocksi she's my aunt." She said looking at her menu

            "From your mom's side?" Paul asked

            "Yeah, she's my mother's sister, she took care of me a lot when I was younger" Apparently the few minutes had been up because Rocksi came back ready to get our drinks. All of us guys just ordered soda's while the girls each ordered different smoothie's so they could each try the others. Girls are so weird.

            "So guys, I've been thinking" Frank started off and we all sighed

            "It's never good when a sentence of hers starts with 'I've been thinking'" Jared muttered.

            "Shut up" She muttered to him "I've been thinking that instead of taking the trucks tomorrow Jared and I can drive our Escalades much more room, better mileage and let's face it just better in general" She told us and we all just chuckled except Paul.

            "I love my truck" Paul replied

            "Fine, you can take that dirty truck up there while everyone else is carpooling"
