Never Noticed (Embry Call Love Story)

Chapter 9

My POV

            The next morning I am awakened by loud snoring.

            "Jared" I mutter and walk over to Jared's room. I look in and no one is in there. I hear the snoring again and walk downstairs. Downstairs I see Seth passed out on the love seat

            "Really Seth?" I ask with my hands on my hips. He jumps up.

            "Sorry Frank, you startled me. Embry and Jared had me come over a few hours ago to watch you"

            "Looks, more like you were watching the inside of your eyelids" I retort and he smiles

            "Breakfast?"

            "Em's?"

            "You're on. Let me get dressed"

            "Morning" I chirp as I walk in the house with Seth trailing behind. Everybody looks up and nods letting me know they acknowledge me and keep stuffing their faces.

            "Frank, this morning I think we should go see my dad" Jake says and then takes a drink of his milk

            "Mr. Black, why?" I question with a puzzled look on my face.

            "I think that's a good idea, Jacob. Jared, Embry I know you both want to go" Sam says and both Embry and Jared nod

            "Can I go?" Seth whines and Sam sighs rolling his eyes

            "Sure" He says. The boys all get up. I ride on Jake's shoulders all as we are laughing up a storm. As we arrive at the door I jump off of Jake's shoulders, literally I stand up on them and jump.

            "Woah spider monkey" Embry jokes and I stick my tongue out at him. We walk inside and I see Billy Black watching t.v

            "Hey Billy" I say and he smiles

            "Hello Frankie, Jared how are you two doing?" He asks politely and I know what he is referring to. Everyone knows my mom left.

            "We're doing well." I say and then turn to Jake "So why are we here?"

            "Dad, something is up with Frank" Jake explained and I looked confused

            "I didn't realize there was something wrong with me" I say

            "Humans shouldn't be able to be strong enough to fight off a vampire" Seth explains and I raise my eyebrows

            "It was no big deal" I say with a shrug

            "Actually, yes it is Frankie. Why did you start getting angry?" Billy asks all of sudden interested

            "Well, she came in and then threatened me and I was scared as hell then she said I was the imprint of Embry and she should keep me alive so I could watch her kill Embry and then I lost it" I explain like it was nothing.

            "I heard about this once before. This is rare."

            "Why?"

            "Were you in love with Embry before he imprinted?" He asks seriously and I scoff

            "No, I only went over to see Melissa"

            "You sure" He asks and I say nothing. Sometimes I felt something towards Embry, but never mentioned anything and never thought anything of it.

            "Well, I used to sometimes feel something towards him, but I never thought anything of it" I admit not looking up.

            "I know. Who was your father?" He asks

            "All I know is he was Quileute. Full blood and my mother is from another rez a few miles south" I say wondering why it is even relevant

            "You could be a hybrid"

            "A what?"

            "A hybrid, half vampire, half shape shifter. You have the blood in you." Billy explains and suddenly my head is spinning and I see nothing, but black.

            -I know this chapter is short sorry, but yeah. So Frankie is a hybrid, what do ya'll think of that?
