My POV

We got home and I walked in the house throwing my bag on the floor not saying a word. I grabbed a chair that was there and threw it across the room. I grabbed a few books and threw them as well. I started kicking the chair and then the couch and then my hands were grabbed and pinned behind my back.

"Let me go" I growled and knocked both Jared and I into the wall. He groaned in pain, letting me go, but falling slowly to the ground. After a few seconds he got up recomposing himself.

"You idiots what were you guys thinking!" I shout. "Don't answer that you guys weren't. All you thought about was saving me not thinking of the consequences" I was furious so furious tears started to run down my cheeks. I wiped them sloppily away.

"They're going to come here, Jared! They will kill you al'" I screamed at the top of my lungs dropping to my knees as the tears started to come harder and harder.

"They will kill you all to get to me!" I shouted, or so I had thought. Since I was crying on my knees it came out normally, but my voice had cracked while saying it. Jared kneed down next to me holding me in his arms as I sobbed.

They didn't get it. They were the only real family I ever knew. My mom she left, my dad my cousins and aunts and uncles hated me because they just did I was never accepted, but by one Aunt who helped take care of me every so often. I could not lose them I'd rather die than stand around waiting for them to get hurt, but some people who wanted them dead just to get to me.

Embry's POV

We had found Frankie and saved her. The whole ride home she was quiet after she shouted at us well more like scolded. I didn't let my leave her waist once I put my arm around her waist.

Her and Jared had left because she completely blew up and none of us knew why exactly

"Why is she so angry she almost died" I questioned as we all sat at the dinner table eating. It was mostly quiet because we had a long day and then it was weird because my imprint was missing and so were Jared and Kim. If Jared was gone, why would Kim come? She has no reason to.

"Who knows? Maybe she was still in shock" Seth suggested before taking a huge bite of his hamburger. I held that in mind and took a bite of my hamburger making a tomato slice fall onto my plate. Usually Frankie would grab whatever fell onto my plate and ate it.

I walked inside once Paul dropped me off. "You're home late" Melissa muttered it was past midnight and I hadn't even realized.

"Mind your own business" I retorted rolling my eyes.

"Mom is pissed ya know?" I raised my eyebrows because at that minute I did not care. The only thing I cared about was figuring out why Frankie is so upset and hurt that we had saved her. Normal people would be happy we saved them, right?

"Okay?" I replied saying it in more of a question form. I started to walk to the stairs

            "Em?"

I sighed turning to my younger sister "Yes, Melissa?"

"Where do you go?" She constantly asked the question I couldn't answer. At least she wasn't mad at me any longer. I never answered her question I just walked upstairs and passed out in my bed still with my shirt, shorts and shoes on face front.

Melissa’s POV

I got a call from Collin early in the morning wondering if I would like to go for a morning run with him. I’m not athletic, but I do like to stay in shape and he knows that. I told him yes and got dressed in a sports bra and some sweat; slipping on a sweater as I walked out of my room.

I met him at the beach where he said where to once he saw me he smiled at me a smug smile and took off running. I laughed a loud laugh and began to run after him. If he wanted it to be a game why not have fun with it as well and play along? Just because Embry is an asshole and my ex-bestfriend is with him and being a bitch doesn’t mean I can’t have any fun myself it wouldn’t be fair.

Frankie’s POV

“Hey Brady, where’s Collin?” I asked sitting on Embry’s lap. I wasn’t upset any longer, just a bit hurt though.

He shrugged “I think he went running with Melissa”

“Yeah, he did I remember because he asked me if it would be fine to.” Embry replied and I nodded.

“Why couldn’t he imprint damn him. I’m pissed at him” I said pouting jokingly because I knew they couldn’t control who they imprinted, if the imprinted because not everybody imprints. Collin and Brady still have not imprinted, we are the only Pack that has so many imprints because imprinting is actually a very rare thing.

Everybody laugh “Oh yeah because we can really control it” Jacob said jokingly. Nessie playfully slapped his arm making me smile.

Collin’s POV

Melissa had finally caught up to me. I was starting to grow feelings and I knew it was a good thing because maybe then she could be in on the secret and I knew Frankie and Embry were dying for her to know because she basically hates them for leaving her. It’s not their fault neither of them asked for it. Embry didn’t ask to be a wolf and Frankie didn’t ask to be his imprint.

As we ran the trail thru our small town we passed a small Coffee shop. There were a couple of girls. I turned because I heard a laugh at the same time she turned and looked at me and suddenly I stopped running because if I didn’t I would have fallen.

She had reddish hair and grayish eyes. She was suddenly the most beautiful person in the world and it was like my feelings for Melissa that I was getting instantly vanished. I wanted her, no I needed her. She was my imprint.

“Shit” I muttered. Looks like Melissa is completely out of everyone’s lives.

“Hey, what’s wrong?” Melissa asked completely concerned.

“Uh nothing, let’s get coffee? My treat” I smiled weakly. She cocked her head trying to figure me out, but after a few seconds she spoke

“Sure” We walked and ordered. We sat a table right across from them and I tried my best not to stare and concentrate on being with Melissa, but she was too beautiful. Suddenly, I heard Melissa sigh.

“Go talk to her. Get her number, whatever. I’m just going to walk home.” She told me. Sadness was obvious in her eyes and voice.

“Melissa you don’t need to go” I pleaded trying to get her to stay. She shook her head and it looked like she was trying not to cry.

She pulled out her wallet and put 3 bucks down “I can handle my own” venom that time was in her voice. She walked from the coffee shop and ran back down the trail.

“Frankie and Embry are going to be pissed” I murmured before taking a sip of my drink.
