Never Noticed (Embry Call Love Story)

Chapter 29

Embry's POV

            For the rest of dinner we just talked an hung out and I knew the guys made Frankie feel so much better about the situation and just herself in general. I watched her as she ate, which might sound like I'm being a creeper, but with her being my imprint it was not. She was picking pieces off a drumstick of chicken and would every so often stuff some in my mouth. She was the definition of perfection at least I think so. But then again, every guy who has imprinted will say the exact same thing about their imprint because that is their soul mate the one they are destined to be with for the rest of their life.

            "Alright guys, we better get to patrol" Seth said. Collin and Brady along with Leah stood up and walked out, but not before saying goodbye and goodnight to everyone because they would not be seeing us until tomorrow. We decide to watch a movie, but halfway thru Frankie stands up

            "I'm tired so I'm going to head home" She says sweetly. She hugs everyone left and says her goodbyes

            "Need a lift home?" I ask as I walk outside with her and she shakes her head.

            "I have my car remember?" She asks raising her eyebrows. I smile sheepishly and put my hand behind my head scratching my neck I totally forgot I had gotten used to giving her rides home. She kisses me lightly on the lips right before getting into her car and driving off. I walk inside thinking nothing of her taking off and thinking she would be safe. The movie just finished and we were all cleaning up our mess of popcorn and soda cans everywhere along with candy which Emily buys along with everything else we constantly eat.. I throw some wrappers away

            "Anyone need a ride home?" Jared asks while yawning. Everybody says they have their own ride or will run home which happens more often than you'd think. Jared hugs me goodbye; right as Seth comes running in the house with Leah trailing close behind. Automatically the first thing coming to mind is Vampire a new one.

            "It's Frankie, we caught a scent and ran to the house you guys need to get there now" Seth says before he ran back out. Leah nods to us letting us know we need to move our asses before running out as well. Both Jared and I and well the rest of the Pack arrive at his house. He runs inside and I right behind him

            "Frankie!" He shouted

            "In here!" She shouted desperately as if she was cornered we ran up the stairs and then we heard a crash. We ran up the stairs into her room and saw three men surrounding her, She had scratches all over and everything which is why Leah and Seth came to us they knew we could out number them and they were so much bigger than the two of them

            "Leave her alone" Jared spoke loud and calm. They looked at him

            "She is a threat to us. She will either be killed or taken as and experiment"

            Jared ran at one and I did another; Paul got another we fought them Embry helping me and Seth helping Jared and Leah helping Paul. The men jumped out of the windows and ran off into the woods

            "Seth, Leah Go!" Sam ordered he had just arrived at had helped me and Embry fight one of the dudes. Frankie was just sitting on the bed, her hands in her lap not sure of what to do. I went over to her and bent down looking at her. Her eyes were void of anything no anger, sadness, vengeance nothing it sort of scared me.

            "Frankie" Jared whispered putting his hand on her shoulder. She whipped around throwing him up against the wall.

            "Oh my gosh Jared I'm so sorry!" She apologized immediately and we all looked at her confused why would she do that.

            "I- I have to go" She whispered before trying to escape the room, but Seth and Embry and Sam would not let her. "Let me go, please" She begged her voice hurt me she was different

            "What did they do to you?" I growled not meaning to. She turned and looked at me, a way she had never looked at me before.

            "I just wish life wasn't so complicated" She groaned suddenly becoming herself. "You don't get how scared I was. I was scared shitless and you wonder why I don't show emotion it gets you pissed on" She grumbled and continued to ran "Jared I swear I thought you were another one of those guys it was a reflex my bad" She giggled a bit at the end and I smiled.

Collin's POV

            So as I was walking to the coffee shop to meet Amber, my imprint at the same exact coffee shop we first met. Shortly after Melissa left I went and talked to her we hit it off and she suggested hanging out again of course I agreed so there I was walking over to the coffee shop. I was reading a text from Brady when I bumped into someone. I looked up and it was Melissa, it had been over a week since we had talked and I could feel the hatred coming off of her for me.

            "Hey" I said awkwardly and she scoffed rolling her eyes

            "Uh hi" Whoa, little Miss Nice turned into little Miss Big Bitch. But who would blame her I mean she has been thru a lot with no damn explanations. I wanted to be her imprint I truly did like her at the time, but destiny didn't want us to be.

            "How are you?"

            "Good, now I've gotta go, bye" She stated and began to run off in the direction we had used to run I felt sad, but once I heard Amber's voice call me over suddenly I was over it and Amber was all I needed.

Brady's POV

            I was busy running the trail, it's a favorite pastime I literally love to run. I was running taking in the scent of everything even though I had literally memorized the woods and the scents. I had just got towards the road and smelled something fruity mixed with bubble gum it smelled delicious not going to lie I could've eaten it. I kept running when I saw a girl, I wasn't sure who she was at the time because well I couldn't see her face she was busy listening to music and looking to the ground. She looked up and bumped right into me. Making us  both fall on our butts, even though I didn't have to I didn't want her to feel embarrassed. She looked at me and started laughing and her laugh was music to  my ears I finally imprinted and I realized on Embry's sister Melissa.

-I had you waiting forever Melissa FINALLY GOT IMPRINTED ON BY BRADY!! OMG OMG CAN'T BELIEVE IT, IT WAS A TWIST HUH? HOW MANY OF YOU WERE EXOECTING THAT?? I BET NONE OF YOUR ASSES WERE! HAHAHAHA
