Never Noticed (Embry Call Love Story)

Chapter 6

Melissa's POV

            I am lying on my bed scrolling thru Instagram. My mom and I ate alone again tonight, Embry of course wasn't home, my dad worked late tonight and I'm still pissed at Frankie. A certain Picture catches my eye

            What the hell? I call up Frankie and get forwarded to her voicemail

            "Sorry, can't get to the phone now either because I'm having too much fun or I don't want to talk to you. Leave your message and I might get back to you Beep just kidding"

            I scream into my pillow. I get up grab my keys and decide I'm going to take a drive

            "Mom, I'll be back" I shout as I run out the door. I get into my car, back out of the driveway and am on my way to Emily Young's place.

My POV

            "Ahh Embry put me down!" I squeal as Embry and I enter the cabin. He plops on the ground on my feet and I land with a thug

            "Ouch" I grumble and he pecks me on the cheek

            "Sorry" He says into my cheek and I smile showing my dimples.

            "So are you two a thing or?" Jared asks trailing off.

            "No, not officially, I want to take things slow" I explain and Jared nods

            "Good. You need to know you're too young for a boyfriend" He says in a fatherly tone. We all smile and Kim slaps him

            "Thank you Kim"

            "Of course"

            Embry goes and sits on the couch and I go and sit on his lap

            "Trading my lap for his? Rude" Seth says pretending to be upset about it so we all laugh more.

            "So you guys are all imprints and wolves than?" I ask wanting to clear the air

            "Yes and no" I hear a female voice say and I turn to see it's Nessie

            "What do you mean?"

            "Well, I'm Jake's imprint but-" She's interuptted by another female voice

            "Hello? Anybody here?" They shout coming closer to the cabin

            "That sounds like-" Embry starts

            "Your sister" I finish. We both instantly get up and walk outside

            "Melissa, what are you doing here?" I ask with Embry's arm around my waist and his other holding him up against one of the poles holding the porch together

            "When were you two going to tell me about this?" She asks pointing from Embry and back to me

            "Melissa, it's not what-" Embry tries saying

            "Not what I think it looks like? I think it looks like my bestfriend and brother have a thing for each other and didn't tell me"

            "You said it was okay!" I defend because she did say it was okay

            "I lied you guys were off limits to each other!" She shouts

            "Melissa, don't shout at me" I say getting angry that I am getting yelled at for something that isn't even my fault. Something i have no control over.

            "I hate you both!" Melissa shouts to both of us as she turns around and walks back to her car.

            "Melissa, now let's not be rash" I spoke softly and calmly to help her calm down

            "NO, leave me alone" She says into my face "Backstabber" I am no backstabber and she knows it. So I push her, hard and she hits her car because at the time we were a few feet away from her car

            "Stop it both of you" Embry tells u

            "Stay out of this" Melissa shouts at him and he backs away not wanting to upset his sister anymore than she already is

            "Frankie, I can't believe you didn't even have the nerve to tell me I had to find out through Instagram!  Like seriously, you bitch!" She screams. Before I even realize what is happening she has my hair in her hands. I do what any normal girl will do and I grab hers and throw her on the ground

            Suddenly, I am grabbed and pulled away by somebody.

            "Stop. Calm down" They mutter over and over in my ear. It takes me a few minutes but then realization hits and it's Jared and I was planning to have a throw down with my best friend? What. The. Hell?

            "Melissa, you need to leave now" Sam says angrily, but trying to control himself because when wolves get angry they shift and only imprints can know the secret and of course elders as in old shape shifters

            She gets up from the ground and gets to her car not before literally spitting in my face. She zooms off.

            "Get off me" I tell Jared struggling to get away from him. He let's go after I tell him to.

            "Now, let's finish that conversation about what Nessie is" I say casually and no one speaks at first

            "What just happened?" Colin asks still stunned for the moment

            "My sister just happened. Hopefully, she'll come around." Embry says and we walk into the house.

            -So I felt like updating again today. I know this chapter is shorter than others, but it's a filler and it's an intro as to how Melissa is going to be acting around Frankie from now on. By the way, a lot of you are wanting Seth to imprint on Melissa, well I have an idea with Melissa, but I don't want to spoil it.
