My POV
We arrive at Emily's and just walk in.
"Hey guys" I say and of course Jared instantly sits down and starts eating muffins Emily made.
"Hey, Leah can I talk to you?" I walk over to her and ask her.
"Sure. Hey Em can we go upstairs to your room for a few minutes to talk in private" Leah asks
"Of course go right ahead" Emily says
"Em, you can come too. I need your advice as well" She nods and follows Leah and I upstairs
"What's wrong?" Leah asks
"Why would something be wrong?" I ask trying to throw her off
"Because Frank, I know you. So what's up?" Leah asks. I sigh and pull the letter out from my pocket. She quickly skims it and then hands it over to Emily.
"That's great!' Emily squeals
"Right, can't believe you will be leaving next year to New York" Leah gushes
"I don't know if I will be going" I mutter
"What?" Leah asks/screeches.
"Honestly, I don't know. I have Embry here. Everything is here in La Push." I explain
"You can't miss out on an opportunity like this sweetie" Emily says putting her hand on mine and I shrug.
"This is just so hard. Like honestly" I complain
"Don't worry. You'll figure it out. All I know is you should go, but it's your decision" Leah says while hugging me and squeezing my shoulder. We get off the bed and start walking downstairs. I see Embry sitting down eating so I go and sit on his lap.
"Nice" He says and I smile. I grab a muffin and take a bite of it.
"Ow something is poking me" He says and I look at him
"What is?" I implore
"I think it's in your pocket." He says and my heart slows I start to panic. I slowly move my hand to my back pocket and take out the letter and try moving it
"What's that?" Paul asks and quickly snatches it away from me reading it.
"Paul!" I scream and he hands it back to me saying nothing. I try to again, put it back in my pocket, but Embry grabs it and reads it. He then pushes me off his lap and storms out of the house
"Thank you, Paul! You ruin everything!" I scream at him and run after Embry.
"Embry" I scream.
Embry's POV
I read the letter and it says she has a early acceptance and scholarship to a photography school in New York. I storm out of the house and am not in the middle of the meadow. This sucks. My imprint will be leaving to go all the way across the country. She didn't even tell me any of this. This feeling I have sucks,
My POV
The first place I search is the meadow knowing theres a huge chance he is there and I am right
"Embry" I whisper and run to him. When I get closer I fall to the ground and sit on the grass
"Please say something" I beg to him and he stands up so fast he's like a blur.
"How could you? You didn't even tell me!" He yells
"I barely go the letter!" I yell back
"When were you planning to tell me then?" He asks
"I don't know!" I shout. "I'm sorry, okay?"
"NO it's not okay. What about us? You will be going to New York next school year and I won't see you anymore" He shouts.
"I don't even know if I'm going!!"I yell at him and he looks surprised at this
"How could you not go?" He questions me staring me right in the eyes.
"Because, you're here. My family is here. I am taking everything into consideration. I can always go to a school in Seattle like Rachel" I state
"Whatever. I don't care. Do what you would like you do it anyways" He says and runs off into the woods. I walk back to the house.
"What happened?" Jared asks
"Well he ran off into the woods. So I'm going home. Nobody need me because I won't come now goodbye" I tell everyone and start my walk home
