ZACH'S POV

All of the guys smirk except for Bryce.

"An E Queen? Seriously?!"

"Dude, back off. It's his life." Chris tells Bryce to shove off.

"How can you like her?" I roll my eyes at Bryce's immaturity.

"Because she actually has a soul unlike you and the sluts that fall at your knees. Besides, they're my friends." Bryce's face turns red with anger as he tries to attack me.

"Woah Mr Bigshot. If you're so worked up, let's make a deal." Harrison smirks. "If you can get Chelsea to fall for you before Internationals, you get fifty dollars." I want to stop them, but I know better. Bryce never backs down.

"And if I don't?" A haunting smirk appears on Brandon's face.

"Let's just say some photos from a familiar party won't be so secret anymore." Bryce's face drops, but he shakes on it.

"Deal." Jacinta walks up to us, fake smiling.

"Names are up." We go to walk out when Jacinta grabs Bryce's shirt sleeve. "One wrong move Lupien, and you're a goner. Don't even think about touching her." Jacinta shoves Bryce before we head to Studio A.

CHELSEA'S POV

I continue to pirouette, trying to dance my nerves away. I finish and smirk triumphantly as Bryce walks in.

"I just set a new record, Lupien. Let's see if you can be like your dad and get past twenty-nine." I sit down on the bench near the lockers, grabbing a drink. As I put my water bottle down, Bryce sits beside me and wraps his arm around my shoulders. I brush it off and stare at him like he just vomited a rainbow. "What the hell was that?" He just smiles devilishly and replies snarkily.

"Come on, babe. Girls love me." I roll my eyes.

"I'm not like other girls, Lupien and do not call me babe." Cierra and Piper walk into the Studio and the conversations soon silence with tension.

"Congratulations to those who made the team this season. For those who didn't, there's always next season. Don't give up! As Cierra calls your name, please stand beside us." Mum comes into the studio. I knew she didn't want to be involved with A-Troupe this year because of the drama, but she always likes to call out the team for the season. Of course, Mum was coming to competitions and supporting us, she just didn't want to be the one taking someone to hospital with a case of heartbreak. You don't know how many times my parents have warned me about drama in A-Troupe. "Out of Group One, Brandon Clost, Amber Lupien and Nicky Lupien." I try not to look at the upset dancers who didn't make it. I can't handle seeing people upset. "Out of Group Two, Abigail Randall, Addison Brown and Harrison Baulisio." I hug my friends. "And Group Three, Bryce Lupien, Jennifer Clost, Zachary Erlick and Chelsea Tordjman." I grin happily. The E Queens were all together for another year and another competition. "Guys, this is Internationals. This year, I'm giving my usual choreography job to Cierra and Piper. I want you to come up with the dances and get Piper and Cierra to approve it, so you'll have a creative choice. This is your year, you decide what costumes you have. Welcome to Internationals." The team applauds enthusiastically. I think it's a brilliant idea and I love how Mum's giving us freedom, but I wish she could be more involved in A-Troupe. I will prove to her that A-Troupe is strong. The Next Step is strong as a family and a little drama isn't going to affect us.  After a few mishaps over the years, the Ultimate Dance Competition board decided that it would be best to have one competition per year. The Next Step had won Regionals and Nationals, now we just needed to bring the Internationals trophy.
