CHELSEA'S POV

"How about we go to Joelle's and let the other's practice?" I smile.

"Okay, but it's not a date." Bryce rolls his eyes and sarcastically laughs.

"Fine, let's go on our non-date." I laugh, snorting slightly. He was okay, but I wouldn't call us friends. "Why didn't you go for the female solo?" Bryce asks, walking to a booth. I sit across from him, resting my hands on the table.

"Well, I didn't want to let my parents down. They're amazing dancers. They won Internationals for The Next Step! I have to live up to their image. Otherwise, I'm going to be stuck in their shadow." I pull a lock of brown hair behind my ear.

"I know how you feel, I'm always compared to my parents. It's hard knowing that you've done so many incredible things and everyone expects you to live up to it. Then when you don't, it's like you've let everyone down." I was shocked. I never knew that Bryce and I could relate so much.

"Besides others deserve a chance to be spotted by talent scouts. I have the studio. I want to take after Mum and own the studio, change young dancers' live." I state.

"I don't want to be like my parents. I want to be a musician." My eyes snap up to look at Bryce.

"Really?! What do you play?" I ask intrigued.

"I play guitar. I've been playing and writing songs since I was younger." He chuckles as I pretend to play a guitar really badly.

"Do you sing?" I ask intrigued.

"Yeah, I do." Joelle waves at me.

"I'll go get our drinks." I stand up, but Bryce grabs my arm.

"Here's the money." He hands me a crumpled five dollar note and I shake him off my arm. I hand Joelle the money and she gives me the drinks. I hear snickering and I see Harrison and Brandon filming in Bryce and I's direction. My arms shake with fury as I walk back to our table, smiling sickeningly sweet.

"Bryce, can I tell you something?" I motion for him to lean forward. "I..." I pour hot chocolate on his head and everyone stared in shocked. "Next time you want to embarrass me on camera," I motion towards the two boys. "you'll get a lot more than an embarrassing scene." I turn out and storm out angrily. So much for relating with Bryce.

BRYCE'S POV

I try to wipe as much hot chocolate out of my hair as I can while rushing after Chelsea. The bet was almost over and the boys, of course, had to film it.

"Chelsea, wait!" My dance captain ignores my yells and keeps walking towards studio A. I pin her against the wall, her hands above my head. Chelsea scowls at me and goes to scream with frustration, but I cover her mouth with my hand. "You have to promise not to scream, okay?" She rolls her eyes but eventually nods my head. I remove my hand from her mouth.

"You spiteful rat." Chelsea snarls at me.

"Be quiet or I'll... tickle you," I smirk as I see a slightly fearful look in her eye.

"You wouldn't dare." Chelsea sneers irritated.

"Want to test that theory?" Before Chelsea could answer back, I began tickling her sides. She begins laughing, full on, no filter and I hate to say it, but it was really attractive.

"Okay, Okay." She squirms and I stop.

"Let me make it up to you during duet practice. I'll work twice as hard." I could see Chelsea actually contemplating the offer underneath her scowl.

"Fine, but no more tricks, okay?" I agree relieved. We head back to Studio A and talk until everyone comes back.

SKIP THE AUDITIONS AND DISCUSSION

"Okay, drumroll please." We all drum our hands on the ground. "The Internationals solos go to Abi and Harrison!" The team cheers.

"Duets, you have an hour to prepare. See you soon." The International duets auditionees hang out in Studio A for practice while Bryce and I head to Studio C.

"Okay, so how about we practice a bit of the Music Video duet?" Bryce smirks, picking up and placing me on his shoulder and spinning me around.

"Put me down." I laugh.

"I'm practising the lift." I roll my eyes before turning the CD player on. Bryce pretends to read a book while sitting down. We continue dancing, noting which moves we wanted. We continued to the Nationals duet. Cierra and Piper walk in and we stop dancing.
