I love Dylan Gardner so much. All song rights to him. I changed a few lyrics.

A FEW WEEKS LATER

CHELSEA'S POV

As much as I hate to say it, since the start of this dance season, Bryce has grown on me. I don't know, I've never been the sappy one. I've always had low expectations for guys, but... I don't know.

Chelsea, focus. This is important. Brighter Brightest came back to TNS to record their music videos with Dad's band and they wanted our dancers to perform. I could tell Mum was more excited than ever and I was happy for her. She finally got to dance with Dad, but first, she had to introduce Chloe to B-Troupe. Chloe is going to love B-Troupe and B-Troupe are going to love Chloe. I think there's one girl in particular that she's going to love. My eyes scan the room and I watch Bryce talk to Dad, the rest of the band and Brighter Brightest. I wonder what's going on.

CHLOE'S POV

"I'm so excited for you to meet B-Troupe, I told them about you and they can hardly wait. They're just like us when we were in B-Troupe. You'll already know a few of the students, but there's one girl that you'll love. Her name is-" I cut The Next Step's Studio Head off with a childish giggle.

"Riles, chill. You need to record and I'm happy to help out. I can't wait to see you and James' updated music video. It sparked your relationship and now you're here." My friend blushes before shoving me playfully and smiling appreciatively as we walk into Studio B.

"Good morning, guys." Riley greets the group of teens.

"Good morning, Miss Riley," B-Troupe calls back, smirking and playfully throwing eye rolls towards her. I burst out laughing as Riley sighs. She's been having this argument ever since she started as Studio Head.

"You know you can guys can call me Riley. Miss Riley makes me feel older than I need to feel." The group chuckle before turning their attention towards me. "B-Troupe, this is Chloe, an Internationals dancer who danced with me when I was on A-Troupe. She's one of my best friends." Riley smirks at me. "Feel free to call her Miss Chloe. She's older than she looks." I playfully shove my friend before smiling at the group. Riley checks her watch before muttering in disbelief and annoyance. "You guys will have the chance to introduce yourselves. I have to go." The busy Studio Head runs out of the room and I chuckle.

"Tell loverboy that I said hi!" I yell after her.

"Not if I see Daniel first." B-Troupe lined themselves up and started with introductions.

"Theodore Finch, sixteen."

"Violet Marky, fifteen." Each teen said their name and age. I got to the last dancer, a beautiful shy-looking brunette with bright green eyes that intrigued me. They looked so welcoming and familiar.

"Magaret Zoey Samson, sixteen. Please call me Margie."

CHELSEA'S POV

"I'm here!" Mum rushes in, red faced and cheerful. Dad chuckles, kissing her cheek before the cameras are set up.

"Okay guys, we want you to do your duet until we give you a wave. After that, Chelsea and Bryce continue and we'll finish with the whole group freestyling." I smile, this is going to be awesome. I watch Mum and Dad do their duet, smiling and laughing. They're so in love. The director raises his hand and Bryce and I continue the duet. I could feel Bryce's breath on my face and his hand on my waist. My heart was thumping and I couldn't stop smiling. The others join in and we finish. We try a few more times and perfect it.

"You did so well." I hug Bryce and he hugs back, somewhat shocked at my actions.

"Hey, Bryce. Do you want to perform your song?" Derek yells and I look at Bryce, confused and intrigued. He smiles at me and grabs a guitar, sitting me down in the big armchair.

"When your Dad's band and Brighter Brightest were here last, I collaborated with them and wrote a song for this girl I really like." I felt a stupid grin growing on my face as my friends gushed. My cheeks turned pink as Bryce began to strum. Dad and the band began playing in the background along with Derek and his friends. I felt my heart jump and I had to restrain myself from hugging Bryce.

"I'll be James and you'll be Riley. Smile and let your eyes shine brightly. I'll be Winter, you'll be Summer. I couldn't ask for just another. I'll be Sunday, you'll be Monday. Look into those eyes, my heart beats. Saw you standing, then I thought it. Baby, why don't we get started?" My friends started clapping along as Mum gave me a thumbs up. Everyone was having fun and the cameras were on us. Bryce winks at me and smiles goofily.

"Now, come on, let's get started. Just don't leave me broken-hearted. Oh, come on, let's get started. You are my love, come on, let's get started. All your problems disregarded. Oh, come on, let's get started." Bryce spins me before I sit down again.

"We can say what you want. Not ever give it up. Just say what you want from me. So come on up, now, let's get started. Just don't leave me broken-hearted. Oh, come on, let's get started. Let's get started." I felt so warm inside and loved. I was so overjoyed. I watched eagerly as my friends danced around, the song continuing. I analysed every word, my eyes glued to Bryce as he sang. His voice was so calming and nice.

"We can say what you want. Not ever give it up. Just say what you want from me. So come on up, now, let's get started. Just don't leave me broken-hearted. Oh, come on, let's get started." I bite my lip, my face aching from smiling. I felt like dancing over the moon.

"Say. Ever. Say what you want from me. So come on up, now, let's get started. Just don't leave me broken-hearted. Oh, come on, let's get started." The song finished and everyone, including the adults, cheer. I hop up as Bryce places his guitar down and I hug him tightly. I rest in his warm embrace as everyone turns silent, waiting for a response from me.

"I was wondering if Miss Dance Captain was free for a date tomorrow after recording with the two bands. Unless your schedule is jam-packed." I giggle childishly.

"I'll have to double-check, but I think I'm free." Bryce brushes my hair from my face before I kiss his cheek. He runs off, does a flip and comes back, yelling.

"She said yes!" He hugs me again. Okay, maybe he's not that bad.
