CHELSEA'S POV

After Brighter Brightest came and left, we decided to reschedule the movie night. I was so excited because, in just four weeks, we'd be in music videos with dad, his band as well as Brighter Brightest. I guess history repeats itself. Anyway, we'd planned a movie night with the other local studio, Confi-DANCE in the studio. Dad found a projector in one of the storage rooms, Mum brought a huge white bed sheet and hung it from the ceiling and we'd managed to score the movie; Touchdown in Tutus III: The Dream Team. It was going to be a great night because I was going to see some good friends of mine that I hadn't seen in months. My good friends, Shauna and Chayse, would be bringing their boyfriends; Teddy and Tom. I was even more excited because I hadn't met Chayse's boyfriend yet. Chayse came out about being bisexual recently. I was really proud of my friend and I couldn't be happier he found someone. I helped Aunt Piper layout cushions and blankets, Bryce and Dad laid out the snack table and Abi, Zach and Jenny decorate the hallway. I hum to myself as we finish.

"Okay guys, Shelly just texted me. Confi-DANCE will be here in ten." Mum and Aunt Emily smiled as Aunt Piper, Chloe and Amanda joined them. Shelly is Joelle's older sister and was a family friend of ours. Mum was close to a lot of the studio owners from across the country.

"Girls!" I hear Shauna squeal as she rushes up to us, almost tackling us all with a hug.

"Well if it isn't the E-Queens." Teddy sassily states as he pretends to strut in. We burst into laughter and I greet him with a hug.

"Hey, Chelsea-Boo. Tom, this is one of my best friends, Chelsea. Chelsea, Tom, my lovely boyfriend." Chayse introduces me to his boyfriend. I smile at the shy dancer.

"It's nice to finally meet you. Chayse won't stop bragging about how you're such a good boyfriend." Chayse playfully slaps my shoulder and Tom cracks a laugh. I continue talking to my friends as Bryce walks over. Uh oh.

"Hey Chayse, Shauna, Teddy. It's great to see you guys." He greets them with a smile before turning to Chayse and Tom. "Chayse, who's your friend?" Bryce has no idea that Chayse is bi, so I'm not sure how it will go.

"Well Bryce, this is my boyfriend, Tom. Tom, this is Bryce." Bryce smiles politely.

"It's really nice to meet you. I'm glad that my friend is happy." Shauna raises her eyebrows at me and Bryce leaves after a while.

"What's gotten into him?" I smile sheepishly.

"We're friends now. I've been working with him and he's become a real sweetheart." Shauna smirks and before I make a sassy remark, a tall blonde cuts in.

"I'm sorry to interrupt, but I wanted to introduce myself. My name is Carson." He greets me with a flirty smile.

"Chelsea." I shake his hand. We talk for a while and I find out that Carson is a really funny guy.

"The movie's starting," Daniel calls out and we find a comfortable spot on the floor.

"Whatever you do, don't trust Carson. He's usually really-" Tom shuts himself up as Carson grabs my hand, motioning towards the hallway. I hop up and follow him out. I gaze at all the photos on the wall of Mum, Dad and the originals compared to us.

"So, what's up?" I ask, not turning around as I break the awkward silence.

"You have no idea how stupid you are..." I spin around to see Carson striding towards me. I walk backwards until my back hits the trophy cupboard.
