THE NEXT DAY

ADDISON'S POV

Harrison and I couldn't stop laughing as we walked the halls of the venue, venturing further into the building as the female solos continued. Hushed voices came from a certain room. Grabbing his arm, I pull Harrison beside me and peek through the crack in the door. It was the Coach for the French Team and her two twin granddaughters, who were accompanied by three of their equally-snooty friends.

"Grandmama, the plan is set. He's coming as we speak. Those Canadian losers won't know what hit them." One of the Monreau twins smirked slyly. My eyes widen, eyebrows rising as I strained to hear better.

"Well done, my darlings, we'll wait for Mr Carson to arrive and make sure that their Dance Captain is too shaken to lead her stupid team." I gasped quietly before grabbing Harrison and hurriedly walking down the corridor, making sure not to make too much noise.

"We have to warn Miss Riley and Bryce. We need to make sure that-" I'm interrupted when I bump into a rather tall figure. His grey eyes stared at back at me, he was dressed in the French Team's dance uniform. I felt my breath get caught in my throat as I squeezed Harrison's hand in fear.

"Don't worry, I'm here to help you. Come on, we need to move quickly." He begins to drag us along. "I'm Hugo, by the way." I plant my feet firmly on the ground, stopping.

"How do we know we can trust you?" Harrison looks at the boy in suspicion. Hugo sighs knowingly.

"I know what my team is doing is wrong. I had no idea about this until around an hour ago. It's horrible and I don't agree with them. Quickly, we have to go." We start to sprint down the hall as fast as possible. We need to get there before Carson does. I don't know what will happen if we don't.

BRYCE'S POV

I was playing some improv games with some of the J-Troupers and B-Troupers while the rest of A-Troupe were off in other places. I knew Chelsea, Jenny, Amber and Nicky were a few doors down, gossiping as usual. I walk over to my bag and rummage around for my water bottle. I sigh when I can't find it, but soon remember that there's a drinking fountain a few metres down the hall.

"Hey Jonathon, I'm just going down the hall to grab a drink. Keep the games up while I'm gone." I smile at my B-Troupe friend, who nods, hugging Kelsey before jumping in the circle. I chuckle, turning to the door. I walk out and make my way towards the bubbler. As I walk down the hallway, a familiar tall and strong-built blonde figure passes me. My heart races and my mind rushes to a million conclusions.

'There's no way...' I watch him carefully as he walks down the hall, checking all of the room numbers before stopping in front of the room where Chelsea and the girls would be. I sprint down the hall, preparing myself to tackle him as he grabs the door handle.

"Hey Carson!" I yell, anger filling my body. His head turns as I tackle him to the floor, punching and hitting him. "Stay away from her." I spit in his face as he attempts to get off the floor, his hands barrelling into my chest. I feel myself get winded but continue scratching and slapping. The door opens to the room and a gasp leaves the opener's mouth. I don't look up though, I keep going. His nose was bleeding and my fists were aching. I was eventually dragged off of him after he got a few strikes to my chest. Carson struggled but stopped when a familiar girl kicked him in the balls. Chelsea kneeled down and angrily spat a threat of some sort in his ear before Carson nods. Her eyes glanced at mine as Carson dropped to the floor and I swear the whole world stopped. A small smile graced Chelsea's lips and I almost sighed in content, the things this girl does for me. James, Riley and a security guard ran towards us, interrupting our glance.
