You've taught me all I've needed to know
you taught me exactly how to grow
but still I struggle asking why you needed to go.
Why you left me here
with a mother whom is to busy to hear.
With out a father figure to be heard from
and yet a man I am supposed to become.
Pop pop you were the man who taught me how to be me
and nana you were the woman who taught me to always be free.
The both of you showed me
what it is to never back down.
To only ever have a good reason to frown
and to earn the crown
that I so eagerly place on my head
I only wish you weren't dead.
I wish you both could see
The man that you made me to be.
A loving caring boy friend
and a heart who's love has no end
a fighting warrior filled with might
and an inner light
that burns oh so bright.
Thank you for giving me this might. Thank you for showing me that I am the light
in my own darkness.
In loving memory I pray god please let them see
the good man they made me to be.
One who sees
with both eyes
one who can discern true from lies.
One who now feels like a prize
and not a lost toy with no box to call home
one who no longer has to roam
because I've known
The seeds I've sown
my home all along.
Grow strong
Was here in this house the one you raised me in.
This place that washes away my sin.
The only home I am safe in.
For your still here in my heart
So we'll never really be apart
Your In these walls
And down all the halls
and the next time I see you will be when this warrior falls
and ill be sorry for the wait
but I have a fate
that both of you know will be great
and to anyone who can't see that.
Just you wait.
To my grand parents.
I love you for making me
the man that you always knew I could be.
