I knew you when there was still metal in your mouth
Before things went south
I knew you when there was still red in your black heart
I met you in the light
But We drifted apart
And in the dark of night
You went out of sight
So long I waited
And debated
Weather to move on
Or abscond
The one thing that remained true
was that I knew you
But that was when you had metal in your mouth.
Back when you spit harsh words at me
That stung like a bee
Words that burned hotter then the south
In summer time
But you paid it no mind
The blood that spilled was mine
And in your mind It was about time.
Back before you became everything society
tells you to be
Back when you fucking knew me.
Oh how far fallen have we.
Of when I look at you a future I no longer see
Let alone one with me.
But rather now you fill me with pity.
