Words are like keys that unlock different emotional doors to people but the best part about words is not only do they have the power to open a door but also slam it back into a persons face if the user so chooses. Words can allow you to keep doors open forever and lock ones shut for good. But weither you shut or open a door often times you have the same inner reaction. How did I do that?
Words have the power to heal and the power to break
so watch what you say and try not to make a mistake.
Because sometimes you take one step to far
leaving a door ajar
and out comes a wicked battle scar
from a past full of emotion
like an ocean
a title wave comes crashing down
all around
of deep seeded thoughts and hopes and dreams
that only ever turned into screams because of a broken home
or another lose all there own.
If there's one thing I've learned about people
it's that we all just want to be treated equal
all doors shut that we feel need be
and others open for all to see.
Do not break doors down in the hopes to cure someone's frown
that's there own path to be found
but rather show then the light
and help with a little bit of insight.
