Hidden Wishes

Nine

The light in Phears eyes left and Hunter felt a stab to the heart. Phear didn't want him. He didn't want to be gay. Hunter knew he needed to distance himself from him. Knew it as too good to be true. He got off his bed and grabbed his shoes and left the room. Where would he go? He was locked in a building for his protection while training. He pulled ou his cell and texted his father.
I need out. What's the code?
While he waited for a response he put his shoes on and began to pace. Something inside him began to build. He felt different. The door opened revealing his father. When he reached out to touch him his father flew back a few hundred yards and landed on his back. Had he electrocuted his father? His father stood and looked at him shocked.
"Come with me."

Phear had heard what sounded like lightening. The shutters were still up so he knew it wasn't raining. Maybe he didn't notice because he felt guilty. Something he'd done made Hunter leave. Part of him wanted Hunter and part of him didn't. He wanted to talk to someone who knew what he was going through. He picked up his phone and dialed his uncle Quinn.
"Phear? What's up?" He heard his uncle ask.
"Everything. I was wondering if we could talk." Phear said hopeful.
"Of course. What's doing?"
"This may come off wrong and I'm sorry." He began, "How did you... I mean how do you cope with being gay?"
"I don't cope. It's my way of life. What's this about?"
"I''ve met someone here. A male. I want him. My body says he belongs to me... I'm scared. I dont know if I can be gay. If I should be gay. Hell I never thought I was gay. Women turn me on. What's wrong with me?"
Quinn chuckled, "Nothing is wrong with you. It's normal for some of these feelings to come about. You aren't gay. Your bisexual. You like men and women. Your mate is male. Obviously you know what that means. It's okay. How do you think Blay feels about my past. The child I could have shared with Layla? It isn't easy, but you just need to figure out your own mind. Possibly make him aware of these feelings before he gets hurt."
'Too late."
"Look I will come to you soon but right now I am being paged to the mansion. Please think about this, if your confused about being bisexual, think about how he feels for wanting you."
The line went dead. How odd that a meeting at the kings would happen just before dawn. Where was Hunter? It worried him that he didn't know. Dawn was so near.
