Chapter 3 - The Truth hurts...

"Come on Laney, i will show you something"! chris took my hand, pulling me behind him...

we walked down an old stair, i was afraid that it would break, it looked really fragile .. he opened an old wooden door and turned on a lighter that he took out his pocket..."What is this place?" i asked him... This is where i want to explain you everything , I will explain to you what happened with your Birth mother, and all the other things you want to know! We passed another old door.. it smelled very moldy and wet in here, it was cold , there were some holes in the roof ...you could see the sun beam thru them... but it was still very dark and it to me a while took adjust my eyes to the dark.

"Chris!! ..Laney!!.. i heard somebody in one of the rooms calling.."Johnny?. we are here..follow the light!" Chris answered... What is Johnny doing here ? i thought...

"Don't worry about Johnny.. but there are some things that he might can explain better to you" Chris answered, just like he was reading my mind again.

We got into a big room with a lot of Columns around, old scratched up Pictures, a few broken benches I guess a old broken church Altar.Really creepy, but somehow very pretty..specially the old Pictures and Draws on the wall.just like in those old movies...

"hey Guys" Johnny said...i just smiled and turned back to one of the draws , i could barely see right , but i saw the look he gave Chris...

I could hear them both whisper, but i didn't understood what they were talking about, so i just stepped closer to them.
"So why did you bring me here again ?" i said with a sarcastic undertone in my voice... Johnny and Chris looked at me with their eyes wide open" you know why, Laney!!" Johnny snapped back , passing by me and giving me a look that would kill.... sounding really mad too... " back off Johnny...she was kidding" Chris said touching Johnny's shoulder...

Damn,...for one moment i really thought Johnny is going to jump in my face.... I guess he is not as nice as i thought!Or why would he get pissed about my comment ...it wasn't even serious...

I Grabbed Chris's hand . "Follow me Laney".. i followed him and we sat down on one of the old stone benches.

He started to talk.. "Calissa Thomas...the woman on the picture.."...I nodded."my birth mother"..."Yes, she wasn't a normal woman.. i don't know in what kind of things you actually believe, and i am sure you are going to think i am Crazy, but please,.. let me finish and then you can say whatever you want".. Chris said still holding my hand..

"Calissa Thomas wasn't just a normal woman, she had some sorts of power that some special people are very afraid of. She gave you away, not because she didn't love you, but because she wanted to protect you Laney"... he kept going while i was listening..nodding and staring on the ground.. "She knew that only with the Smith's you would stay safe for this long!"....

"She was supposed to be the only one in this world with this kind of Power, but when these People found out that she was Pregnant with you, they were scared that she would pass her Powers to you as well.."

"I am not talking about Normal People, the ones who were after her are Bad and Evil, and the only one able to Destroy them was Calissa."

I thought i was in some kind of Freak show, listening to all this nonsense making things that Chris is telling me.. but i kept my mouth shut and just nodded..just like I promised him before...so he kept talking...

"After Calissa gave birth to you, she left you with the Smiths , they knew about everything, she left for good, and nobody got to know about her since then . Actually Everybody thought Calissa and you were Dead! Because the past 20 years no one has ever heard from her! These People threatened her to kill her whenever they find her.., and they thought she took you with her back then. Until now!!"
