"You have everything?" Austin asks me, his hand on the light switch.
"Yeah, I think so" I nod, walking out of the door. He nods back and turns off the light, locking the door behind him "Do you close often?" I ask him and he shrugs.
"Sometimes, I did a lot my second summer but after that it's kind of random"
"Oh" I nod, and he chuckles.
"Don't take thing the wrong way, but you're... Odd" He tells me, and I look at him in confusion.
"Odd?"
"Yeah" He nods.
"And why is that?" I ask, leaning against the hood of my car.
"You're not like the other girls that work here" He shrugs "You're more calm, and I guess you're kind of cool" He rolls his eyes playfully.
"Oh my gosh, did the Austin Mahone, just compliment me? The world must be ending" I tease and he pushes my shoulder playfully.
"Don't get used to it" He shakes his head, a small smile on his lips.
"I'll try not to" I smile, Austin makes small, nearly unnoticeable steps towards me, until were merely centimeters apart. I see him slowly lean in and before I can even ask what's happening his soft lips are on mine, leaving a short kiss. He pulls away with his lip taken between his teeth.

"I'll uh, see you tomorrow" He smiles, walking off to his car. I bite my lip to suppress a smile as I walk from the front of my car to the drivers seat, climbing in and driving home.
"What's got you all googly eyed and red faced?" Shane asks as soon as I walk in the door making Kylie turn to look at me.
"Ooh I see it"
"Nothing" I shake my head, my voice coming out high pitched.
"I know you're lying" He rolls his eyes.
"No I'm not"
"Then tell me why your voice sounds like Justin Bieber pre-puberty" Shane crosses his arms over his chest, raising an eyebrow at me.
"Because I'm lying" I sigh, sitting down across from him at the island in the kitchen.
"So what happened?"
"Austin, that 'mysterious' guy at the pool, kissed me today" I bite my lip and they both look at me with widened eyes.
"I want details" Kylie demands, Shane agreeing.
"We were closing today and as we were walking out to our cars he told me he thinks I'm cool, and that I'm different than the other girls at the pool and then the next thing his lips are on mine" I explain, both of the looking intrigued.
"And?" Shane urges.
"And what?"
"How was it?" Kylie asks.
"Well, it wasn't much to judge, it was just a peck, it wasn't anything crazy. But if you want something, his lips are very soft and plump" I blush "I'll leave you on that note" I laugh, walking up the steps to get into the shower. I wash my body and my hair getting out and wrapping a towel around my body as I walk to my room.
"You got a text from someone but we couldn't get into your phone to read it" Shane rolls his eyes, handing me my phone.
"Thanks" I take it from him and he walks out of my room, allowing me to change into a pair of shorts and a t-shirt. I open the text on my phone, smiling at the words.

I laugh quietly to myself, adding him to my contacts, something I've been too lazy to do before typing out a reply.

Austin and I text basically the whole night, eventually turning into a phone call, as we talk until we both fall asleep. I'm not sure how it escalated so quickly and honestly, I don't know where we're going. I really don't want a relationship, but I wouldn't mind one with Austin.
Dragging myself into work, Dan and Kyle yell greetings from the pool which in return with a bored wave, walking into the employee building "You look rough" Austin chuckles, handing me a mug filled with coffee.
"Oh my, thank you" I breathe out in relief taking a drink "I look rough because someone kept me up half the night"
"I said you could've gone to sleep whenever" He shrugs, sitting down on the couch and patting the spot next to him "You should've agreed to my offer"
"I didn't want to look like a wuss" I shrug, sitting down beside him and throwing my feet over his lap.
"You already do" He chuckles, tucking a piece of hair that fell out of my ponytail behind my ear "But it's cute on you" He teases, and I roll my eyes playfully.
"Everything is cute on me"
"Especially me" He winks and I blush a deep red, making him laugh loudly "I'm joking" He shakes his head "At least a little"
"You're too much for me" I shake my head, taking another drink of coffee. The door to the building opens and I see the blonde hair the belongs to Britney which makes me jump up from the couch and run away from Austin leaning against the counter.
"Why do you look so out of breath? What did Austin do?" She glares down at Austin and Austin's jaw drops.
"Dude, I didn't do anything" He denies and Britney looks at me for answers.
"He didn't do anything" I shake my eyes, my eyes looking over at Austin as he winks at me.
"Good, well I'm going to need you to close again today" She sighs "I know I was supposed to but school is happening"
"It's alright, don't worry" I reassure her, and from the corner of my eye I see Austin smirk, and I know exactly what's running through his head.
