I literally want to punch my psych teacher in the face. She's being a fucking bitch. Like if you're absent and she checks something it automatically goes in as a zero and she doesn't even give you a chance to fix it. And if you try to fix it she'll push it off as if it's nothing and I'm not no bitch! You're fucking UK my grade so get your shit together you stupid fucking bitch.
Phew, that was mean.
Anyways, let's get to it. This is a short chapter, but I'm really tired.
/Lennon/
"The pool isn't open" I say, not turning around to see who had dropped their stuff behind me, as I fold towels by the pool.
"I know, I'm just wondering when Austin will be here" A female voice says and I freeze in my spot.
"Who are you?" I ask, continuing to fold the towels.
"My uh, my names Lynn" She says her voice soft, and my eyes widen. I clear my throat and turn around, holding out my hand, careful to not gawk at how pretty she is, all while containing my jealousy.
"I'm Lennon, I work with Austin" I force a smile, and she shakes my hand, smiling back.
"Nice to meet you, I'm his girlfriend" She nods with a bright smile, as if she's happy to call herself Austin's girlfriend "Anyways, I have some of his stuff he left at my house last night" She motions to the bag on the ground.
"Oh, well if you'd like I can just give it to him, unless you want to wait for him to get here" I offer.
"You don't mind giving it to him do you? Because I really have to get to work"
"It's no problem" I wave it off and she smiles gratefully.
"Thank you"
"You're welcome"
"It was nice meeting you, maybe I'll see you again soon" She smiles again, with her perfectly straight teeth before walking towards the gate, leaving just as Kyle walks in.
"Did I miss a chick fight?" He asks, and I shake my head.
"She's so nice, why would he do that to her?"
"They're complicated, very very complicated" He shrugs "Why was she here?"
"She wanted to drop his stuff off" I point to Austin's bag and he nods.
"You take that inside, and I'll finish folding these. I think Austin will be here soon"
"Okay, thanks" I nod, grabbing Austin's bag and carrying it into the employee building and dropping it next to the couch before laying face down on the couch. I lay like that for a good twenty minutes when the door opens, and I look to the door seeing Austin walk in.
"Hi"
"Some girl named Lynn came by and dropped off your stuff" I point to the bag next to the couch, and his eyes widen.
"What'd she say to you?"
"Just that you left that at her house last night" I shrug "Oh, and that she's your girlfriend" I raise my voice and he gulps, squeezing his eyes shut.
"I can explai-"
"I don't want you to. I've known for a while now, that's why I was acting 'so weird' as you put it, but I was waiting for you to figure out what you did that was wrong" I sit up on the couch, crossing my arms over my chest.
"I'm sorry"
"I don't want your apologies, I want you to leave me alone"
"But I don't want to leave you alone" He frowns.
"You have a girlfriend, that is so freaking nice and you cheated on her? With me? It doesn't make sense" I shake my head, disregarding what he had said.
"We're complicated Lennon, I've lost feelings for her but I didn't realize it until I met you" He bites at his lip ring "From the moment I saw you I knew that what I felt for Lynn would be nothing like what I could feel for you, what I do feel for you" He sits down next to me on the couch.
"I don't believe you" I shake my head.
"You don't have to" He shrugs "But at least I told you" He mumbles, standing up from the couch and walking out of the employee building, leaving me to sit alone and think about everything he just said to me.
