OMG I am so sorry for this long ass wait on this book! I've been so busy and I was updating other stories, I've literally lost track of time. But I'm here, and this book has reached 25K so thank you for that!
All day today and tomorrow I am forcing myself to write a chapter or two in my "underdog stories" as I like to call them.
Please bear with me, as this chapter will more than likely be short as I ease back into the swing of things.
I suggest rereading last chapter to know what's happening, because lets be honest, it's been a lonnnngggg asss timmmeee
Dude does anyone know where to get some good high waisted jeans are? Like my ass it too big for low rise and it's beginning to get on my nerves but i can't find any good high waisted jeans.

Much like Austin said, he did come back later, and I was lucky the pool was slow today because all he's done is distract me.
"Don't you have to work?" I ask, pushing him off of the ice cream freezer so I can grab an ice cream sandwich.
"Nope" He said "I got off twenty minutes ago" He told me as I hand the ice cream sandwich to the mother waiting at the window.
"Have a great day" I smile, and she returns it thanking me, and handing the ice cream to her son.
"If you got off twenty minutes ago then why are you here?" I ask, leaning my back against the counter and facing him.
"Because I wanted to hang out with your pretty self" He pinches my cheek and I roll my eyes.
"You're so fucking cheesy" I chuckle, and he shrugs.
"Don't act like you don't love it" He walks past me, kissing my cheek before grabbing a thing of nachos.
"Ooh" I reach and grab a chip from him, dipping it in salsa.
"Yeah, sure Babe, have some" He scoffs.
"Thanks, Babe" I kiss his cheek, and he rolls his eyes "I want mexican food so bad" I pout "It's so goddamn good"
"I'll take you to get some when you get off work" He wraps an arm around my waist.
"Ooh! Where are we going?" Kyle walks into the snack stand, grabbing a water from the fridge, and tossing a dollar into the cash register.
"Nowhere" I shake my head, and he pouts.
"Come on, don't keep secrets from your baby Kyle" He walks over to me, putting his head on my shoulder and whining loudly.
"Oh my gosh, we're getting food"
"I wanna come!" He says happily, and I look at Austin who shrugs, with a slight eye roll.
"Fine" I say and he cheers "Well I'm off now, so I'm going to go change!"
"We'll come pick you up" Austin says "Lennon's got to change first"
"Okay!" He says before running out of the snack stand.
"Am I the only one that hates him?" Austin asks and I punch his shoulder.
"You love him and you know it" I chuckle, looking at the clock to check the time.
"I get off in twenty minutes, so you go change and then I'll go to my house and change"
"But why?" He whines "Then I'd have to deal with Kyle by myself, he'd see my walking into my apartment from his and he'll have to come with me"
"Don't be mean" I scold "It's not my fault you live right across from each other"
"I know, it's mine" He rolls his eyes and I laugh slightly.
"You love him so shut up" I roll my eyes "Now go, so that you're ready when I am" I push him off me lightly.
"Fine, fine. I'll see you soon" He kisses my cheek before walking off. I check the time, and count down the minutes until I'm off, all while eating Austin's nachos that he left here.
When it's time for me to get off, I'm walking off to my car after closing up the snack shop. When I get into my car I turn it on, blasting the air conditioning as it is burning hot in my car. I drive home and run inside, running up the steps to shower. I make my shower quick, and walk to my room to change my clothes.
Austin sends me a text that he's on his way and I smile before responding, putting my phone into my pocket and waiting downstairs.
"Where are you going?" Shane asks.
"To get food with Austin and Kyle"
"And where was my invite?" He asks, crossing his arms.
"I didn't know you'd want one" I shrug.
"Well, I do" He scoffs, rolling his eyes.
"Okay, I'll ask if you can come" I say, taking out my phone and texting Austin asking if he's okay with Shane going.
He responds a few minutes later saying that it's fine, and when I tell Shane, he cheers and runs upstairs to change quickly.
He changes in just enough time for Austin and Kyle to pull up. Him and I both walk outside, Kyle getting out of the front seat to give it to me and Shane and him get into the backseat.
"Hi Baby, so good to see you again" Shane says to Austin, and Austin chuckles.
"It's good to see you too Darling, I've missed you"
"Oh my god" Shane fans himself and I laugh loudly. Austin backs out of my driveway, my arm linking through his that's resting on the center console. He smiles at me as my thumb skims along his forearm, and he leans over and kisses my temple upon stopping at a red light.
"Oh goodness, stop, you two are too cute" Shane says from the backseat, and Austin chuckles.
"Thanks, we don't even try" He says, eventually pulling into the parking lot of the best Mexican food place.
After we eat, we drive back to my place, Shane and I unbuckling our seat belts "I'll see you tomorrow" I say before shaking my head "Just kidding, I have off tomorrow, I'll see you the day after" I grin.
"I'll see you tomorrow" Austin winks, and I shake my head, knowing he's probably got something planned.
"Well, then I'll see you tomorrow" I chuckle before getting out, waving bye to Kyle in the backseat and walking up the front porch with Shane and unlocking the door.
"Okay, can I just say, y'all are cute as shit" Shane laughs, and I blush heavily.
"Shut up Shane"
