A lone bus drove down the snow covered roads.
Inside the bus were only three passengers, two boys and a girl, all sharing a few similarities. Hey, they were triplets after all.
The first boy had brown hair and light brown eyes, Dipper. He wore a blue t-shirt with a yellow star on it over a yellow long-sleeved shirt, shorts, and sneakers. Pretty underdressed for the cold.
Then the other boy had darker brown hair and and the same shade of brown eyes as his twins, Wally. He wore an orange t-shirt, a short-sleeved gray jacket with black sleeves, jeans, and black sneakers.
Then, there was the only girl in her family, Mabel. He had long brown hair and brown eyes. She wore a white shirt with brown trim with a brown star on the front, jeans, an orange jacket, and brown boots.
"Ugh, this is so boorrring!" Wally groaned.
Dipper looked up from the book he was reading and to his brother. "It's not all that bad. Just relax and enjoy the ride." Dipper chuckled.
"Are we there yet Mabel?" Wally asked.
Mabel lifted her head off of the cold glass and thought for a moment. "Considering I just saw a sign that said "Gravity Rises 120 miles" five minutes ago, I think we're almost there." She said.
Wally went quiet again. He was thinking about their new lives with their Great Uncle Stanford.
It was really strange too, he never heard of a place called Gravity Rises and he never even knew that they even had a great uncle! But when his parents told them about the divorce, they knew then.
It was strange. The old man never met them but he obliged to take them in.
So that's when the question formed. "What do you guys think Great Uncle Stanford is like?" Wally asked.
"What do you mean?" Mabel asked.
The boy looked down at his hands that were folded on his lap, "Well I mean...we never met him and we only just learned about him yesterday. Dad said he was a big shot researcher so that means he's probably working all the time right?" He asked.
"Well...I guess if you look at all the movies and stuff..." Dipper mumbled.
"I just don't want us getting in the way." Wally muttered.
"Come on dude," Mabel said as she threw an arm around her brother's shoulders, "I bet Great Uncle Stanford is super fun. I heard that he runs a place called the Mystery Museum too."
Dipper playfully punched his twin's shoulder, "Come on Wally, it's something different. Just think, a new fresh start after Christmas Break. Think of it as an endless vacation!"
"...I guess, if you put it that way..." Wally said.
"Try not to think about it too much Brainiac." Mabel said as she poked her brother's forehead.
Wally grinned and poked Mabel back.
The trio always got along together. Through the good, the bad, through thick and thin. They stuck to each other like glue.
This move wouldn't make a difference. They'd always be with each other.
For the rest of the ride, all three had fallen asleep. That is until the bus jerked to a stop, sending Wally to the floor of the bus.
"Final stop! Gravity Rises!" called the bus driver.
"Here we are fellas." Mabel said aloud.
They all gathered their belongings and went to the door.
