Both Dipper and Mabel burst into the Museum, panting heavily. The sudden slamming of the door alerted Ford who nearly dropped a chemical he was working on.

Ford opened his mouth to scold them but he then saw what state they were in. "What happened to you two?" He asked.

Both kids started talking at once at it didn't help when Mabel was crying either. Ford knelt down in front of the two and placed his hand on their shoulders. "Relax you two. Take a deep breath." Ford instructed.

Dipper and Mabel drew in shaky breaths.

"Now let it out."

The two exhaled, feeling their nerves ease up slightly.

"Now, tell me what happened." Ford began. But there was something wrong. There were only two of the three triplets. "Where's Wally?" Ford asked.

"We were in the forest," Mabel began, as she dried her tears with her sleeve, "We were just playing around when this big, scary wolf thing appeared. It said we were a threat to "Lord Crypt" and started chasing us. We climbed up a tree but the thing knocked it over, knocking Dipper and I out. When we woke up, Wally was gone and we came here." She explained.

Ford's had gone stiff and his eyes were wide in shock. "Soos! Get in here!"

"Yes Mr.Pines?" Soos asked, as he poked his head in the room.

Ford got to his feet, "Make sure Dipper and Mabel are taken care of, there is something I have to do." He said, as he made to the basement.

Once in the lab, Ford opened up a compartment in his desk and pulled out a gun, no, it was more of a blaster.

"Time to get serious." Ford said

Wally made another sharp turn in the woods. He didn't stop to look behind him, knowing exactly what was chasing him down. There was an earsplitting howl from behind the boy.

'At least Dipper and Mabel are safe.' Wally thought, knowing he did the right thing.

"I'm going to rip out your organs and use your broken bones as chew toys!"

His legs hurt and his lungs burned from the icy winter air. The blizzard didn't help either. But he couldn't stop until he knew he was safe. That's when he saw it, a cave!

"Come on legs, don't give on me now!" Wally muttered. He made a mad dash for the vacant cave and hid against the wall. He stayed silent and the beast stood at the mouth of the cave. It snarled before taking off again.

Wally finally let go of the breath he held which came out in rapid pants.

Who goes there?

Is he the one?

The boy turned in several directions, seeing nothing in the cave. "H-hello?!" He called out.

Child, what did you come here for?

"Um...safety, I guess."

He has a pure heart!

Shall we give it to him?

We can't let it fall into his hands.

How can we trust him?

Wally listened to the voices. What in the world were they talking about?

Child, a great evil is afoot, we trust this Amulet with you.

"Amulet?" Wally questioned.

There, in the corner was an orange glow. Strangely, the glow seemed to be calling him. Wally walked towards it, where he found a handprint, a six-fingered handprint. "Just like the journal..." Wally thought.
