It was those two simple words that started it all. Those two words that inspired you to create. That made you the person you are today.

Hello Internet.

Being a fan of Dan Howell is something you can't explain. It's something you feel that no one else can share. Every word he ever says is so similar to you that it almost feels like you are the same person.

Your longing to see his beautiful self in person has been eating away at you. But now, as a birthday present from your mom, you got to fly to L.A to attend your very first Vidcon ever.

But this time, it's different. You've been making videos forever and you've gained a pretty big following. You have well since passed the 100,000 mark and YouTube even sent you a small plaque as a congratulations.

This year, though, they've asked you to come as a featured creature. From siting in your, dreaming about meeting all of your favorite YouTube celebrities to now actually getting to do something with them is incredible.

You pace back and forth in your hotel room thinking about everything. Running sceneries through your head and contemplating what you would do in certain situations.

It must have been an hour you were doing this for because your friend Hanna, who tagged along with you, had left for dinner and had come back to find you still pacing.

"Seriously? You're still here?" She says, setting the leftovers on the counter.

"Dude. I'm freaking out right now." You tell her, finally taking a seat on the bed.

"I noticed, but what are you so freaked out about. This is going to be an amazing weekend!"

You agree with her on that. It's going to the best weekend you've ever had. But that's exactly why you're freaked out.

"Yes, I know but I'm so nervous. Dan's going to be there. I'm going to make a fool of myself." You run your fingers through your hair in frustration.

Hanna places her hand on your shoulder and gives it a comforting squeeze. She's been your best friend since grade school and never fails to make you smile.

That's one of her superpowers. No matter how torn up you are. She will make you laugh no matter what.

"You're going to do great. Besides, they didn't give you a meet and greet so you don't have to worry about that."

That's true. Since you aren't one of the most popular channels out there, they only gave you some backstage passes and an interview. The interview is supposed to be on the People's Magazine stage which is in the back and a lot smaller than the others.

Nonetheless, it's still an interview.

"You're right," you take a deep breath, "Well, I'm going to try and get some sleep."

She nods and you change into your pajamas before climbing into bed. Finally, your mind decides to calm down.
