Chapter 12- You Jump, I Jump

Lonnie POV

I decided to visit Mal and Evie. I saw that Evie tried out for cheerleading, but didn't make it. Their door was opened but I knocked anyway. When I went in, Evie had some books on the table, Mal was on her bed drawing, and Jane was just on Evie's bed.

"Hey, it's me." They looked at me, Mal looking confused. "Lonnie, daughter of Mulan."

"Hi," Mal said going back to her drawing.

"I love what you did with Jane's hair, is it okay if you can do mine?" I asked while touching my short hair. Mal looked up and looked at me.

"Why would I do that?" I took out my small pouch with my money in it.

"I'll pay you 25 dollars."

"Good answer." Evie got up and took the money. "I need to buy more material."

She looked at me, and explained "I'm thinking lose the bangs, add some layers and some highlights-" before I cut her off.

"I want it cool... Like Mal." She looked up, and looked me and Evie.

"I'll pay $50, final offer." Mal looked at Evie who shook the pouch.

"Fine, I'll do it." She grabbed her spell book. I walked over and stood in front her.

"Beware, forswear, replace the old with cool hair." She chanted, and waved her figure in a certain motion.

When she finished, I felt my hair grow longer and curly. I walked to the mirror, and looked at myself. My short black hair magically turned into long, curly brown hair.

"I know, I know. It looks like a mop on your head. Let's cut it off, layer it." Evie said.

"No, no, no, no. I love it!"

"You do?"

"It's just..." I look at Mal and Evie's clothes, seeing small rips in them. I grabbed my skirt and made a small rip. They looked surprised, but I didn't care. "Now I'm cool."

"Like ice." Mal said.

Audrey POV

I didn't go back to the field, instead I went back to my room. I couldn't understand how Ben would've wanted a Villain on both the tourney and the cheerleading team.

They will just ruin everything, like my relationship with Ben.

I barged in my room, and grabbed the box under my bed. It was where I kept all of my happy memories. I took out all of the pictures of me and Ben.

Without thinking, I ripped them all in half, right down the middle. I took out all of my anger. After I calm down a bit, I didn't notice that someone was at the door.

"Audrey," I turned to see Lonnie. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine." I lied, wiping off my tears and quickly hiding the ripped pieces in the box.

"You're lying." She came in and sat on my bed. I stayed on the floor, trying not to look upset.

How did she know? "No, I'm not."
