Carlos POV
We all looked around, but Maleficent was nowhere to be seen. Everyone unfroze and looked at us. Mal still had the wand in her hand, and we slowly walked up to the front.
One started to clap, then another. Soon enough, almost everyone around us clapped. I smile and Jane ran up me. Audrey went to Jay, Doug went to Evie, and Ben went to Mal.
Everything seemed calm, until the boat rumbled. We all got down, and it stopped. I went the railing and looked down. I saw water coming in the the dent, Maleficent made.
"We have a problem!" I yelled out. Everyone came by me, and I pointed to the visible hole. The captain of the ship immediately went left and Mal looked to the Fairy Godmother.
"Can't you use magic to fix this?" Mal asked, giving the wand back to the Fairy Godmother.
"The ship is made iron. Iron prevents magic from being used." She explained.
"Everyone, got to your rooms and put on the life jackets in the emergency compartment. Then go to the Grand Staircase." Beast yelled out. Everyone left, except for Mal, Evie, Jay, me holding Dude, Ben, Belle, and Beast.
We followed the to a room, where a map of the Titanic was shown. Mal took off a price of her dress, making it shorter and undid her hair. Evie did the same for her dress. The captain came in, and looked at the map.
"The dent went through five compartments," he said while pointing to the map. "It was designed to hold water in for four, not five. The water will eventually go over to each deck, and soon enough the ship will be at the bottom of Triton's Bay."
Everyone one was quiet, not knowing what else to say. His words repeated in head,
"How much time?" Belle asked.
"Roughly an hour or so. But their aren't enough lifeboats for everyone."
Then that means, nearly half of the passengers will still be on the ship when it goes under.
Mal POV
"Prepare all the lifeboats, fit as many passengers as the crew can. But women and children should go first." Beast explained to the captain. "As for the rest of us, keep calm."
"How are we supposed to be calm if the ship is sinking?" I asked.
"Just try. We would want to cause a panic." Ben said, holding onto me.
If men and children are first, then Ben and I will be separated. I can't have that.
Jane POV
I followed my mother to our room and took of the bottom half of my dress. My mother quickly hand m a life jacket and helped put it on. She put her wand in a case and we left our room.
"Mom, what are we going to do?" I asked as we walked down the hallway, and more passengers followed us.
"We'll wait in the Grand Staircase, until the lifeboats are set." She explained. She turned around and looked at me when we made it to the stairs. "Promise me something. If we ever get separated at any point, promise me you'll be careful."
"Yes, I promise." I quickly said. We waited and I noticed Carlos wasn't there. "Mom I'm going to find Carlos."
"Are you sure? He should be here soon."
"I'm promise I'll be quick." She thought for a moment, and nodded her head.
"Alright, but please be careful."
"I'll be back." I left to Carlos's room, and looked back to my mom. She gave a small smile.
I promise I'll be careful.
Audrey POV
My family went to our stateroom, and my father got the lifejackets. I ripped my dress, making it shorter, and started pacing, thinking of where Jay was.
"Why are you pacing, Audrey?" My mother asked.
"I'm worried about Jay." I said.
"Why worry about him? He's no fit to rule any kingdom." My grandmother said. I stopped pacing and looked at my family.
"Jay, Mal, Carlos, and Evie saved us all from being enslaved by Maleficent, and yet you don't like him."
"He's a bad influence on you."
"He's not a bad influence, he taught me to be free."
"We'll talk about all of this later. Right now, we need to go to the staircase." I followed them to the staircase and saw Jane going the opposite direction.
"Jane, where are you going?" I asked her.
"I'm going to find Carlos." I looked back at my family, then to Jane.
"I'm coming with you. I need to find Jay."
"Great, we'll start with their room." I followed her, and I thought of what my parents said.
I know he's different, but he changed.
