Chapter 22- Chioces

Mal POV

I quickly took the wand from the Fairy Godmother's hand and shot a blast of magic out to the sky. Carlos, Evie, and Jay stood by me and I felt my body shake. I looked to where the magic was shot, and immediately knew that it was heading to The Isle Of The Lost.

It is done.

I looked to Ben, who slowly came to me. He looked a bit shocked, and I felt my hands shake.

"Mal, give me the wand." He calmly said.

"Stand back." I stuttered, while holding onto the wand like a sword.

"It's okay."

"Ben, I said 'stand back!'" I yelled out. Everyone gasped and the Atlantica citizens hid in the water.

"It's revenge time." Jay said.

"Do you really want to do this?" Ben asked.

"We have no choice Ben! Our parents-"

"Your parents made their choice, to live the rest of their lives as villains. Now you make your choice. Do you really want to be like them?"

I calmed down a bit and looked at Beast, Belle, and the Fairy Godmother and to the audience. Audrey, Doug, and Jane looked at Jay, Evie, and Carlos. Dude was in Jane's arms, whimpering.

So much has changed, maybe I can too.

"I think I want to be good." I said a bit quietly.

"You are good."

"How do you know that?!"

"Because... Because I'm listening to my heart."

"I want to listen to my heart too." I turned my friends, but they're more like the family I never had. "And my heart is telling me we are not our parents."

I looked at Jay, the once thief who could take anything, but now he found someone who actually liked him. "Stealing things doesn't make you happy, tourney and Audrey makes you happy." He smiled and looked back at Audrey, who blushed.

I looked at Carlos, the one who was afraid of dogs. Now his best friend is Dude, and Jane, who may not say it, might like him. "And you, being with Dude and Jane make you happy."

I turned to Evie, who showed small tears. I couldn't that we changed so much. "And Evie, you are a true princess, and Doug can even see that, he's the true prince you deserve."

I don't want to be evil. I never had a chance before, but now I do.

"And I don't want rule the world with evil, it doesn't make me happy. I want to go to school," I paused for a moment, realizing what I really wanted, "and be with Ben." I turned to him, and lifted up my hand, showing his ring, letting tears go done my face. "Cause Ben makes me really happy."

"Us being friends makes me really happy. You all finding love make me happy." I knew what I truly wanted.

"I choose good." I said, placing my hand out.

"I choose good too." Jay said, putting his hand on top of mine.

"Me too." Evie said with a smile, putting her hand on top of ours.

"Just to be clear, we don't have to be worried about what our parents will say?" Carlos asked with a chuckle. We all let out a small laugh. "Cause their going to be really, really mad."

"None of your parents will reach you here." Ben said.

"Okay, then. Good." Carlos said, placing his hand onto the pile.

I looked back at Ben, and motioned him to join us. Jay, Evie, and Carlos did the same for Audrey, Doug and Jane. Surprisingly Chad and Lonnie joined in.

Everyone clapped, and I rested my head on Ben's shoulder.

Looks like everything is finally going perfectly right.

A thunder was heard and I green cloud appeared, making everyone frightened. 

I spoke too soon.
