Audrey POV

I was going to fall into the water, but Jay grabbed my hands before I did. I screamed trying get back on, but couldn't.

"Help me! Please!" I screamed. Jay tried to pull me up, but lost some of his grip. "Don't let me fall!"

"I won't let go!" He yelled out, still trying to hold onto me. "I promise, just trust."

"Why would I trust you?!"

"I would've let you go by now!"

He's right. But why is he helping me?

"Just give me your arm, and climb back on!" I looked down at the splashing water, and back at him.

I gave him my other arm, and he pulled me back to the railing. I climbed over it and held onto me. Once I was over it, Jay pulled me on board. I fell and he fell on me.

I heard footsteps, and saw Ben and Jay's friends. They looked at Jay's boots and vest, then at Jay, who was on top of me, then at me.

"What's going on?" Ben asked. Jay pulled me up and I was breathing heavily.

"It's my fault." I said. They all looked at me, even Jay. "I was looking at the propellers and I went over the railing. If Jay wasn't here to save my life, I would've gone overboard." They were all quiet, and I looked at Jay, hoping he'll tell the truth.

"Is this true?" Ben asked Jay.

"Yes, yes it is."

"Thank you for saving her. Even though Audrey and I aren't dating, I appreciate you saving a friend." Ben held out his hand, and Jay shook it. Jay walked to his boots and vest, before leaving with Mal, Evie, and Carlos.

Why didn't he let me go?

Jay POV

I walked with Mal, Evie and Carlos before we went I to my room.

"Jay," Mal said, breaking the silence. "Can you answer this question?"

"Maybe,"

"If what Audrey said was true, that she did fall over and you caught her, how could you have enough time to take off your shoes and your vest?"

I stopped and didn't say anything. They looked at me, waiting for an answer. "Can we talk about this another time? It's been a long day."

They nodded, and we all went back to our rooms. I stayed up, thinking of what I did.

Why did I save her?
Why didn't I let her fall?
Why did I do something good?

Mal POV

I woke up the next morning, not because of the alarm clock, but because of an odd dream.

I was the very back of the ship, but it was literally going down into the water. I looked around and saw that Ben was hanging onto me, and Evie and Doug, Jay and Audrey, Carlos with Dude and Jane, and Chad and Lonnie were holding on to the railing. The ship was going down, and I looked at Ben.

"I won't ever let you go." He whispered to me. That was when I woke up.

That felt so real. What if it was more than that.

"Are you okay?" Evie asked me.

"Yeah, I just need to go find Ben."

"Why do you need to find Ben?" She asked with a smile. "You like him, don't you?"

"What?! No!" I said, hoping it was true. "I just need to see him, because I... Need him to answer my question."

"And what question would that be?"

"You don't need to know!" And with that I quickly got dressed, and went to the dining hall. While I was walking there, I asked myself multiple questions.

Why did we have to come here?
If its destiny, am I meant to be with Ben?
Why didn't Jay let go?
What will happen when we get the wand?
Will I actually find love?
