Chapter 11- New Plan

Evie POV

We all went back to the field and saw that everyone left, except for Chad and Doug, to who I suppose returned from his band practice. I sat next to Chad, and Doug sat next to me. I felt a small awkward moment between us, but noticed Chad gesturing me to follow him under the bleachers.

"Is everyone at home as pretty as you?" He asked me. I blushed, knowing it was my chance to be with a prince.

"I like to think I'm the fairest of them all." I said.

"I couldn't help but notice that in Chemistry, you got nearly all the answers right." That was true, I solve the atom weight of silver, ever though I did it with my magic mirror.

"I only got them right because of this." I pulled out my mirror and showed him it. "If I ask it anything, it'll show me it."

"That's incredible, like you." We stared into eachothers eyes, but he asked me a certain question. "I need your help. I'm failing Chemistry, and if I don't get my grades up, I'm won't be allowed to play tourney. One of my dreams is to go pro in that."

"Sure, I'll help. What do I need to do?" I asked quickly.

"I just need you to do my homework. If you do that, then we'll get together some time and hang out." I nodded and he handed me his bag. "I have to go, but see you later." He similes at me, and walked out of the doors.

"You shouldn't trust him." I jumped and turned to see Doug on the bleachers.

"Are you stalking me?" I asked.

"I wouldn't call it stalking. I was just overhearing your conversation with Chad."

I thought for a moment and said, "That's basically what stalking is."

"Okay, I was technically stalking, but like I said before, you shouldn't trust Chad. He always find a way to get what he wants. He uses his charms to get girls to do his homework."

"I don't believe you. And how do you know that?"

"Just look up 'School of Secrets'. You don't have to believe me, all I'm saying is to not trust him." I looked at Doug, knowing that he won't lie to me. We both walked back to where the others were, and I thought of what Doug told me.

But Chad is the perfect prince, he won't do that to me.

Mal POV

We waited for Ben and Audrey to come back, and I saw Evie with Chad. They were talking and he handed her his bag.

Why did Evie take his bag? This can't be good.

Doug came by her after Chad left. They talked and Evie looked worried. They came by us. I was about to asked her what happened but Ben barged through the doors, looking a bit upset.

"What's wrong?" I asked Ben.

"It's a long story, but overall, I broke up with Audrey." We were all quiet, not believing what he just said.

"I don't know what to say." I said

"It's not your fault. We just never had an argument before."

"So, who'll be your date for your coronation?" Doug asked.

"Wait, date?" Carlos questioned.

"Yeah, my date will be able to be up front with my family to see me get crowned king."

"Interesting." I muttered.

"I'll need some time, but for now, let's just relax for a bit." We all walked out of the field, and I thought of a new plan.

"Hey," I whispered to Evie, Jay, and Carlos who was holding onto Dude. "Let's talk later. I have a plan, follow me."

Carlos POV

We all walked to the girls room, and Dude didn't hurt me at all. His fur felt different than the ones on my mother coat. Dude's fur felt softer and fresh.

Why did my mother lye to me?

"What's the plan?" Jay asked Mal. She closed the door and locked it.

"I have a backup plan." She took out her spellbook, and looked for a certain page. "If the Fairy Godmother can't give Jane a makeover, then I'll have to use a love spell to make me his girlfriend. Then I can be up front with him and get the wand."

"Do you really need a spell?" Evie asked, as she took out Chad's books from his bags. "I mean, he already likes you."

"Yeah, right. How could anyone love me, the daughter of Maleficent? And why are you doing Chad's homework?"

"I'm doing it so he won't get off the tourney team."

"Okay then, but shouldn't he be doing it?" I asked.

"Well, yeah but he said we'll hang out if I did it."

"And, if he doesn't?" Jay asked.

She stopped and thought about it. "He won't lie, Chad only needs some help."

"Okay then, so we just need to stay low until further notice." We all nodded, but I wondered about how much we'd been through.

Maybe we're destined to live in Auradon.
