We stopped briefly on the way into the venue for Danny to chat to some of the waiting fans. I stayed with him, just to be sure he was OK, but hung back from the barriers so that he could just do his thing.

He only stayed for about 10 minutes before saying "We're really late so we're going to have to go in but thanks for coming down" he then turned to take my hand and we headed inside.

"I hate not being able to meet everyone" he said to me as we walked in.

"Hey, it's amazing that you're here. They'll live without meeting you, and Mark and Glen have been out there all day" I reassured him.

Danny smiled as he led me down to the dressing room.

When Danny went to get changed, Rina came over to me to check how he was.

"Extreme exhaustion" I told her, repeating what the doctor had told me. "There'll be no more partying for him, I'll be making sure he's well rested before we go" I laughed.

"What about you?" Rina asked me.

"I'm fine, I'll be better when I know he's alright though" I said gesturing over to Danny.

"We'll be out there if anything goes wrong" Rina reassured me "But I'm sure he'll be fine"

I decided to go and get something to eat as I haven't had anything today. Rina said she'd come with me because the lads would need extra time to prepare for tonight.

Kissing Danny before I left I said to him "Don't be drinking too much" he smiled at me, we both knew he'd still have a drink but I hoped he would cut back a bit.

As I ate I spoke to Rina about Danny. It was so strange because he now looked physically fine but I knew that it was only down to the drugs that had perked him up for tonight. I was really worried about him.

Rina suggested that I speak to Quinner about it. I was a bit scared to do that, but I brushed it aside so that I could do what was best for Danny.

After clearing my plate I went to find Quinner's office. Rina told me that she would meet me at our seats for the show and she went out to watch the support act.

I cautiously entered Quinner's office and spoke to him about Danny's schedule for the next few days. He couldn't have been nicer about it and I don't know why I was so worried about speaking to him.

He had already contacted the TV and radio stations where interviews were booked in and explained that Danny won't be able to be there but Glen and Mark would still do them and he had also arranged a hotel nearby for Danny and I tonight and a car to take us to the show tomorrow so that we didn't have to go on the bus tonight.

"If you make sure he gets enough rest to get on that stage every night, I'll do everything I can to help" Quinner said with a reassuring smile.

"Thanks" I said as I took the copy of Danny's revised schedule and put it in my bag.

I went out to find Rina and settled down to watch the show.

The lads were fantastic but I struggled to enjoy the gig as I focused solely on Danny looking for any signs that things weren't right. There were none though, he made it through the entire show unscathed and as he leapt from the drums at the end of their final song, Rina and I headed backstage so that we were there before they had taken their final bows.

As the lads left the stage, Mark ran over to Rina, lifting her up as he hugged her. Glen and Danny came wandering over to where I was waiting with their arms around each other.

"Good show" I said to them both as we headed back to the dressing room.

Danny started to collect up his things to go for a shower. "Why don't you get a shower at the hotel?" I asked Danny, forgetting that he didn't know that we weren't going on the bus tonight.

He wasn't happy when I explained that he wouldn't be doing any of the interviews for a few days but Mark and Glen helped me to reassure him that it was OK and he needed a break.

The lads then went to get changed and headed outside to meet fans.

After half an hour, our car arrived to take Danny and I to our hotel for the night.

I went over to Danny cautiously, I hated that I had to interrupt him while he was with fans but I knew that we had to go. As I approached, a few fans asked if they could get a photo of me and Danny together which we did stand and pose for but I drew the line when one person said "Can we get one of you kissing?" Why would anyone want that picture??

Danny laughed as I put my head down as I clear indication that I was not going to kiss him in front of cameras. "We've got to go, see you all soon" he said as he started to back away waving.

Mark looked up from the autograph he was signing and mouthed the words 'Look after him'. I nodded and took Danny's hand as we headed to the car to go to the hotel.

Danny was anything but tired when we got back. I understand this, I know that while he is on stage he becomes so pumped with adrenaline that it can take hours after a show for him to come down.

We ordered sandwiches from room service and then went in the shower together. There was nothing sexual in the shower, we were literally just saving time by going together.

I settled Danny in bed, fighting against his moans of not being tired and then waited for room service to arrive before joining him in bed where we ate our sandwiches and drank tea, not Danny's usual post show tipple but he didn't complain.

"I'm still not tired" Danny moaned when he was finished.

"That's OK, you don't have to sleep, just lie down in bed and let your body rest" I told him.

Reluctantly he lay down in bed and got himself comfy before he started chatting.
