Chapter 8

Jill's POV

"Please be seated and buckle your seat belts as we start our decent into Indianapolis" a voice announced over the speaker causing me to freeze in my seat.
Hunter sat up looking at me.

"Babe what's wrong?"

"Where's your show tomorrow?" I asked slowly.

"They just announced it, we're in Indianapolis, why?"

I looked down at my hands, they were shaking slightly and I couldn't make them stop, this might not end well.

"Are you okay?" Hunter asked taking my hands in his to try to stop the shaking.

He looked worried, I wanted to tell him I was okay but I wasn't. I opened my mouth to speak but the plane suddenly jerked and started to slow down, we'd just landed. Soon the doors opened and everyone started to file out but I didn't want to move.

"What's the matter? Babe I'm sorry but we have to go" Hunter said slowly.

Hunter held my hand as he stood up, he let go for a second to grab our things from the overhead compartment before taking my hand again. I could sense everything around me at once while at the same time nothing at all. I knew the girls were walking behind me along with their boys as we walked through the terminal into the lobby. I could hear everyone talking around me but I didn't dare say a thing. I heard Geo talking about the shuttle that was coming to pick us up and take us to the hotel, I didn't know whether to be upset or relieved, I didn't want to be in this airport any longer but I also didn't want to go farther into Indianapolis. After ten minutes of looking at the floor and occasionally nodding when someone asked if I was okay the shuttle arrived. We climbed in and headed to the hotel, not much was different, I didn't say anything to anyone and no one really seemed to notice. When we arrived at the hotel we all headed up to our rooms, as hotels in Indianapolis were cheaper than ones in LA we'd gotten four rooms, two for the parents, one for the boys, and one for the girls and I. Of course we all knew the boys would be over in our room often but it was cool to be a little separate and not all cramped together. The boys let us pick which room we wanted, well Cam, Alyssa, and Mel picked it as I only shrugged when they asked me a question and nodded when I liked something.

"Shawn said we have to go discuss the show tomorrow so we'll be back in about two hours, okay babe?" Hunter said hugging me.

I nodded and gave a weak smile. He looked worried and a little sad which broke my heart but he quickly covered it up and hugged me again.

"I'll see you later beautiful" He whispered before kissing my cheek and reluctantly heading out the door with the other boys.

"Jilly please talk to us" Cammy said.

"I'm fine, really" I struggled.

"Don't try that, we know you're not okay" Alyssa said sitting beside me.

As I thought about what I was going to tell them, images of Abigail flashed through my mind making my breathing choppy. I tried opening my mouth to speak but nothing came out, my face started growing hotter as my chest began to hurt.
