Jill's POV
After the boys were called away to help my dad the girls and I started to set up the water slide but quickly realized we wanted to wait for the boys, so we decided to just lay out.
"The lawn chairs are in the garage" I pointed out.
We headed over to the garage to get the chairs and sneak a peek at what the boys were doing. When we stepped into the garage we realized neither the boys or my dad were in there.
"Where'd they go?" Melody asked.
"Maybe into the house to get a drink" I suggested.
The girls shrugged as we headed to get the chairs, once we'd each chosen a chair we carried them back to the front yard to tan.
We'd just turned on my speaker and laid down when we heard someone walking towards us.
"Hey, what're you doing back?" I heard Cammy ask.
I sat up as I realized Mario, Mark, and Geo had come back.
"We finished with the truck so we came to help with the slide" Geo replied.
"Where's Hunter, Blake and Weston?" I asked.
The boys looked at each other before shrugging.
"You don't know?" Alyssa said doubtfully.
"Well-"
Mark was cut off by the front door closing and a loud scream piercing the air causing the girls and I to jump. Before we could react or comprehend what was going on Weston, Blake, and Hunter ran across the yard carrying large buckets and began hurling water balloons. Weston's balloon hit Alyssa first, followed by Blake narrowly missing my shoulder. The girls and I quickly flipped our lawn chairs over on their sides and hid behind them laughing.
"We're done for" Cammy laughed.
"This isn't even fair!" Alyssa yelled jokingly towards the boys.
We all flipped over and laid on our stomachs to see between the slats of the chairs. Geo, Mario, and Mark had jogged over to the others and seemed to be negotiating with Weston to get a bucket of balloons. As soon as he handed the bucket to Mark, Mark started running towards us, causing us to scream and try to shield ourselves. But he never threw a balloon at us, he slid behind the chairs and sat the bucket beside us grinning wildly.
"Mark you're a genius!" I yelled before grabbing a balloon and chucking it at Hunter, hitting him square in the chest.
The boys seemed to be shocked at what Mark did but quickly recovered and started yelling about how he was a traitor while throwing balloons at us. Before long our supply of balloons had dwindled down to three while the boys seemed to have an endless supply.
"It's over, we're officially screwed" Melody said.
"Maybe not, I have an idea" I whispered.
The girls and Mark watched as I stood up, balloon in hand, and stared the other boys down. I came out from behind our chair fort and aimed at Blake. Of course in order to defend hisself he threw a balloon, hitting me right in the hip. I leaned over holding my side in one hand and tossing our balloon back to Mark so we didn't waste it. I doubled over dropping to my knees and groaning.
"Oh my god, babe are you okay?" Hunter said running over and kneeling beside me.
"I...I think so" I said gasping.
"Did you have to hit her that hard!?" He yelled turning back towards Blake.
I took this as my opportunity and grabbed the handle of his bucket, jumping up and running back to the girls who started cheering.
"Hey! That's cheating!" Hunter pouted as he realized what happened.
"Sorry babe" I giggled.
After I stole Hunter's bucket the boys didn't stand a chance, we ended up completely drenching them head to toe.
"So much for your element of surprise Weston" Blake grumbled as we headed towards the house.
"How was I supposed to know they're deceitful ninjas!" Weston exclaimed throwing his hands up in the air dramatically.
When we reached the porch the boys looked at Mark, the girls, and I.
"Well, we can't go inside dripping wet, can you bring us towels?" Geo asked.
"Of course" Cammy said as we headed inside.
"Mark are you coming?" Alyssa asked.
"No, I'll wait out here"
"Okay" Alyssa said shrugging and going inside.
"Should we change first so the boys can come straight in and change?"
"Yeah, that's a good idea"
The girls and I changed quickly and grabbed some towels before heading back outside. When we stepped on the porch we didn't see the boys.
"Where'd they go?"
"This way" Melody laughed pointing to the wet footprints leading to the other end of the porch.
We followed the footprints till they just came to a stop.
"Where could they have gone?" Cammy asked.
"Right here!" The boys yelled from behind us, causing us to spin around startled.
That was a mistake, as soon as we turned around each boy quickly hugged their girlfriend, while Weston and Blake took turns sandwiching each of us between them and our boyfriends. By the time we realized why they were hugging us it was to late, the soaking wet boys had drenched our shirts.
"You jerk!" Alyssa yelled laughing as she stepped away from Mark.
"Mark you were on our side, you weren't even that wet what happened?" I asked.
"We turned on the water hose" he said pointing to the hose behind us.
"You're ridiculous" I chuckled wrapping my arm around Hunter's waist as he put his around my shoulders.
"Come on, let's go change" Hunter said grabbing the towel I brought out and wrapping it around me while leading me to the door.
