The Last Time

By the time we all changed it was already getting dark out so we decided to gather in the living room and watch movies again.

"Dad are you going to watch movies with us?" I asked as I made popcorn.

"No, I'm going to head to bed, be good" He said before kissing the top of my head and heading to his room.

After the popcorn was done I carried it all to the living room and handed everyone a bowl.

"Can we watch the maze runner?" I asked as I sat beside Hunter.

"Jill you just want to see your boyfriend" Alyssa teased from beside me.

Hunter turned and looked at her confused.

"What? What does that movie have to do with me?"

"I'm not talking about you" Alyssa said smirking causing me to laugh.

All the boys looked at us with looks of confusion.

"Just start the movie and you'll see what she means" Cammy said laughing slightly.

All the girls know what happens when I watch the maze runner so they were still giggling as the boys started the movie.

"Hey greenie, I'm Newt"

"Oh my god!" I said louder than I meant to causing everyone to look at me.

"What?" The boys asked in unison as the girls burst out laughing.

I got up from the couch and sat directly in front of the tv.

"I thought you might actually have the chops to be a runner, until you fell on your face, that's great" I said copying the movie in a British accent.

"Is that your boyfriend Jill?" Weston asked laughing.

"Yes! I'm going to marry him it's already decided" I said before I quickly looked at Hunter and closed my mouth.

I looked down at my lap before getting up and walking back to sit beside Hunter who was pouting.

"Don't worry babe, he's 26, it's just a silly crush, you know I'm yours" I whispered in his ear.

I saw his face soften as he realized I was right.

"I know, I just can't stand the thought of losing you" He said putting his arm around me.

As the movie went on everyone started falling asleep except for me. I slowly got up from the couch, careful not to wake anyone and headed to the kitchen to get a water.

"Jill" Someone whispered from behind me causing me to jump.

"Oh my god Blake you scared me" I said as he stepped towards the fridge and into the stream of light coming from it.

"Sorry, I just wanted to talk to you" he chuckled messing with his hair.

"Sure, let's just go back to the living room" I said while closing the fridge.

"No" He said quickly while stepping towards me again.

Without the fridge light I could just make out his facial features in the dark, he looked serious, nervous even. I didn't need a light to notice how close he actually was as he stared down at me, blue eyes blazing even in the dark.

"Okay, what's wrong?" I asked unsure.

"He's not who you think he is" He said slowly

"What do you mean? Who?" I asked.

"Hunter, he's the reason you couldn't play your game the day we met you"

"No, I couldn't play because of my knee, which Mario did on accident" I said confused.
