"I missed you so much" I cried on his shoulder.

"I missed you too"

I could tell he was trying not to cry, which only made me cry all the more.

"What're you doing here?"

"I've been on tour with my friends this past week and we were close so I decided to come see you" I explained quickly.

"I see, well come on in so you can tell me all about what you've been up to" he said stepping aside and gesturing for everyone to file inside.

After everyone was inside I started looking around, not much had changed, only the living room and kitchen were painted a different color and there was new furniture in the living room.

"So, who are your friends?"

"Oh gosh, I forgot, this Cameron, we call her Cammy, Alyssa, and Melody, they're my friends from Texas" I said gesturing to the girls.

"Well hello, you must be pretty amazing friends to come all the way to Kentucky for Jill"

"Thank you" Alyssa said.

"And um, who are these boys?" My dad said questioningly.

"Well, this is Weston, Geo, Hunter, Blake, Mark, and Mario, they're the reason we were on tour and able to come here" I said smiling.

"Thank you boys, thank you for bringing her home"

"No need to thank us we just wanted to make her happy" Hunter replied.

"Well, your sisters aren't going to be home tonight as they're with their friends, how long will you be staying?"

"We have to leave tomorrow night, so I'll have to see them tomorrow afternoon when they return"

"Sounds like a plan, unfortunately I only planned on cooking dinner for myself tonight so I don't have anything to make for eleven people, I'll just have to run to the store" My dad said.

"Oh no, that's okay, we can go, it'll be much easier for us to pick things we like than for you to stress trying to remember what we tell you" Melody said quickly.

I felt my heart rate quicken at the thought of leaving the house.

"I guess that would be easier, is that okay with you?" My dad said turning to me unsure of having me go into town.

"Oh...uh, yeah it'll be fine" I lied.

I know this is going to be hard for me, just thinking of her sends me into moments of hysteria. But we all decide to go anyway, I'm with nine other people, I'll be okay. I probably won't even run into her.

The walk to the store is short but it took awhile as everyone seemed to be confused by how few stores there were, there's only one gas station, a little restaurant, a church, a ballpark, a tiny milkshake place, and a grocery store in the town.

"Where's the mall?" Alyssa asked.

"About forty minutes from here"

"What about a movie theatre?" Cammy asked quickly.

"About thirty minutes away"

"What about a Starbucks?" Blake said faking panic.

"There's not one, it's forty minutes away also" I replied laughing.

"But what about-"

"Okay city people, there's not much here, the kids go to the ballpark all summer not the mall, movies, or Starbucks, there's less than a thousand people in this town, there's only three schools, an elementary, middle, and high school, and most of the land is cornfields" I explained realizing they weren't used to everything being so far.
