Mara Jay Hansen is roommates with one direction. She's an interior designer building her dream. After struggling with Harry constantly asking her to marry him she breaks and leaves. Harry is broken and so is Mara. Mara reconnects with her ex-fiancé...
It quickly became real on the tabloids that harry and I had been spending some time apart. Other tabloids used the words breaking up, cut off, no longer together, and hopeless love. There wasn't anything in the world I wanted more than being in his arms.
I walked into the kitchen. I heard talking but I couldn't hear where it was coming from. "You're breaking her heart." J said in a whisper. "J?" "Got to go." I heard the phone hang or and she came crawling out of the closet. "Is this your coming out?" "Haha, funny." She put her phone on the table. "Who were you talking to?" I knew. "No one." "K." "Ok ok, I was talking to Harry." "Joice!" "I can't stand to see you two like this." I started walking away. "Where are you going?" "I need to draw!" I balled alone. I needed to drain my eyes.
I laid in the couch. I hadn't brought myself to even get ready. "But are you ok?" "Yes dad, I'm fine." I lied. "Alright, I have a date tonight." "With who?" "Her name is Penny." "How did you meet?" "I saw her alone at a coffee shop." That's when I felt the tears coming. "Dad I got to go." My voice cracks. "Dos I say something?" "Yeah, you did." "I'm sorry darling. I love you." "I love you too." "Bye." "Bye." My hand released my phone making it drop to the floor. I covered my eyes win my forearm. The door bell rang and I fell of the couch. I answered it. "Hello?" I asked rubbing my eye dry. "Delivery for Mara Jay Hansen." "That's me." "Sign here." "Signing?" I asked as I signed it. "Big package." He took the paper and pen back. "Have a nice day ma'am." "You too." He walked away. "Wait! Where's the package." "They're bring it right up." Up? "Ok, thanks." I closed the door. "Who was that?" J asks. "Delivery man." "Oh this will be good." She sat fixed on the couch looking at the door. "Why are you acting weird." "I know what it is." She says. "What is it?" "You'll see." He knocked. I opened the door. He held a bouquet of roses. "Thank you?" I said like a question. "I got it." He brought it in and set it on the floor. "You can put it on the counter." I say. "I'll put em' where you'll fit." I didn't knew what that meant but J laughed. "Fit?" He brought it more with other guys helping him. "Oh my goodness." "That's 1000." He says. "A 1000 roses?" I ask. "Yup." Hollyshit. "Card?" J asked. "Here you go. Have a nice day." They laughed and talked about the rises as they left. "He did not." I say to Joice. "He did." She carefully walked over carful not to knock over the roses. She read the note with me. "MJ, I screwed up and I'm ready for you to come home. I love you more than anything. XOXO Your's."

That want the end of it. I was getting napkin notes in the mail and phone calls ever hour from the boys. "Home sick?" David asked. "Yeah." I tucked my phone away. "Why don't you go back?" "I'm not ready." "It's been a week. He's desperate." "David-" "Has he not learned his lesson?" I chuckled. "I'm sure he has but have I?" "What lesson is that?" "Is he someone I can spend the rest if my life with?" Then again, he took me in when my family was at its lowest, helped my dad pay for groceries, helped my dad look for a job at the hospital, gave David a job, and became my soul mate. "So you're not going to the VMAs?" "David even if I was I was I couldn't get you in." "So you're not?" "It doesn't look good." "I'll talk to him." "Like you already haven't." "Point taken."
