*Ashley's pov*

I pulled into my driveway. It was 8:30pm. My parents are probably asleep. Slowly going into the house, I tip toed to my room. I laid across my bed on my stomach.

I brought out my phone to see Rosemeri's name on it.
10 messages. Wow.

*Text conversation"

Me: hey

Rose: hey where were you? I was worried.

Me: I was with Shawn.

Rose: oh ok so you and Shawn now?!

Me: yea, me and Shawn now. Damn he can kiss!!😍😍

Rose: ohh you need to go for it girl!

Me: no,not now.

(Brandy joins the group)

Brandy: aww y'all are so cute!!

(Josie joins in the group)

Josie: aww I always knew it would happen.

Me: hey Shawn invited us to the beach tomorrow. @2

Rose: yay I get to see Jake 😍

Brandy: ok let me text Nick
*2 minutes later*

Brandy: ok Nick's coming. You guys there??

Me: yes but I have to go. Byee

I turned off my phone and went to bed. Tomorrow's going to be fun

*next day*

I sat up, then stretched. Glancing at the time, I smiled. Its only 12pm. that gives me enough time to get ready. I got up and went to the shower. It only took 20 minutes. Wrapping the towel around me, I walked to my dresser and pulled out my favorite bikini. Its pink with ruffled on the top piece. I threw it on. Grabbing my sundress, I slipped it over me. I headed to the kitchen to eat breakfast before I leave.

"Sweetie, where are you going?" My mom asked me.

"Oh, Shawn invited me and the girls to the beach."

"Oh ok. Well have fun. I have to leave for the work trip and your dad already left. There's grits on the stove. love you"

"Love you too mom"

I grabbed the bowl of grits and ate them. My phone vibrates

Shawn: hey do want me to pick you up??

Awe that's sweet.

Me: sure thanks

Hearing Shawn pull up, I walked out there.

"Hey babe you ready?"

"Yea I'm ready. Lets go" I said smiling.

What felt like forever, we finally arrived. We got out of the car and walked to the girls.

"Hey girls you wanna go swimming?"

"Nah I think we're good for now babe"

"Alright. Come on guys." Shawn said walking to the beautiful ocean.

"I'm going to talk to Brandy" Nick said.

"Alright" Shawn said winking at me.

*Nick's pov *

I walk over to Brandy. "Hey babe, you look sexy in that bikini."

She blushed. "Aww thanks. You look pretty hot shirtless."

"Thanks baby girl. What do you wanna do tonight?" I asked

"Watch movies I guess. I'm alittle tired."

"Ok that's fine. I love you" I said kissing her cheek.

She smiled, " I love you too."

"Hey guys, lets go swimming!" Ashley shouted.

*Shawn's pov*

"Its about time. You get your ass over here, babygirl." I said laughing.

"Shut up Shawn" Ashley responded as she walked to the water.

"Well I know how to shut you up"
"Oh my god Shawn, you're an idiot." She said, shaking her head.

"Ow! That hurts" I said, putting my hands on my chest. " I love you tho"

She rolled her eyes," yea sure you do.." she giggled." I love you too."

After we stayed in the water for awhile, we finally got out.

"Come on Ash, lets go set up for the party." Brandy called out.

" I have to go Shawn. See you tonight." Ashley said, kissing my lips.

"Ok, I love you." I said between kisses. Honestly, kissing her stops time. Sounds cheesy I know but it's true.

"I love you too" she smiled as we pulled away, looking at each other.

"Eww guys get a room!" Rosmeri yelled.

Ashley blushed, "Omg lets just hurry and go home."

I took Ashley's hand and walked to Rosmeri's car. I opened Ashley's door. "Here you go my lady" I said with a cheeky smile.

"Oh Shawn you're such a gentlemen."

"Well I try my best. Every girl needs a gentlemen." I winked
She laughed as she was getting in the car. God I love her laugh.
I walked to the other side of the car and got in. Rosmeri started the car and drove to Ash's house.
