Mean while Caroline was having surgery to stop the internal bleeding like her sister was having her shoulder pinned and a check to see how bad she was before they got to work, the induced a coma so that she would heal somewhat faster. Jeremy was a wreck hours after he sat with the girl he loved she looked peaceful yet damaged at the same time. he grabbed her hand and talked to her.

"Beth you gotta get better, for me i can't lose you I've already lost so much. you promised it would be us forever." the door opened and he turned round not expecting to see...

Bonnie arrived at the hospital and searched for Jeremy and Matt she found Matt waiting in the corridor he looked crest fallen she sat down next to him.

"hey how are they doing" she asked her friend

"they are not good Bon" Matt replied

"what happened?" was the next question..

"we were in the car and Tyler said he heard this noise he had like a migraine or something and the car crashed. Beth she tried to help him and had the worst impact Caroline i don't know she knocked her head but..." he trailed off. Bonnie thought of the device used to hurt vampires.

Meanwhile Damon arrived at the request of Liz who was shaken up and worried about her daughters not only that something had gone terribly wrong and Mayor Lockwood died in the basement.

"Liz how are they?" he asked he had more concern for the youngest since they had started to develop a friendship of sorts

"they're in surgery they are doing everything they can but i need your help" she took him over to a corner

"Mayor Lockwood is dead, they put him in the basement. they thought he was a vampire" Damon of course pretended to be shocked when in fact he was down there as well.

"Mayor Lockwood was a vampire?" Liz shook her head

"no, no, no a mistake was made. they said he dropped like the others when the device went off. he can't of been a vampire I've known him my whole life. now Carol will want answers. All i can think about right now is Bethany and Caroline" she started to sob and Damon hugged her

Elena found Bonnie pacing

"Bonnie how are they?" Elena asked her best friend, Bonnie turned to look at her with a grim look.

"they don't know if they're going make it. Caroline maybe but Bethany... she was the worst." Bonnie hugged Elena

*Damon*

"is there something you can do like a spell" Elena asked

"she doesn't know how. do ya" i cut they off making myself know

"no i don't" she confirmed

"no you don't because it took Emily years to learn a spell like that" i raised my eye brows

"i know how to take down a vampire that spell was easy to learn" she glared at me i ignored her

"i can always give them my blood" i offered i was more asking for Caroline instead of Bethany something about the youngest Forbes intrigued me. Elena shook her head

"nope no way"

"I'm asking for Caroline I'm giving it to Bethany no matter what." i told them

"do it" Bonnie said
