it was the next day and the first thing i did after my morning routine is go visit Jeremy, i wanted to know what was going on and why he never answered my calls so i drove to his. Jenna, Alaric weren't here and Elena was with Caroline. so i knocked on his door. he opened it and smiled

"Bethany hey" i pushed passed him

"what were you doing last night i called like 20 times" i asked

"oh yeah sorry i was busy helping Bonnie"

"BONNIE BENNET. the witch was more important than your own girlfriend. that's nice!" i yell

"there is no need to shout Beth we were just hanging out."

"oh there is cause while you were playing friends with Witch Bitch my sister got kidnapped my Mason Lockwood's buddies" i spat

"wait Caroline was kidnapped"

"yes we being me and the Salvatore's along with the help of Elijah's warlock saved and got her away. all i wanted was too here your voice tell you what happened and say everything was going to be okay, you weren't there Jeremy... you weren't there" i start to cry he comes over but i take a step back. my phone rings

"what" i spat.

"well hello to you to get over here i need a little chat with you" Damon says then hangs up.

"Bethany I'm really sorry" he comes closer and i don't move he hugs me.

"i have to go" i wiggle out of his grasp and got to the car when my phone goes off again this time its Elijah.

"hello" my voice cracks.

"Bethany are you alright?" i gulp.

"yeah fine just boyfriend trouble what's wrong?" i get into my car

"nothing i was just going to ask if you were coming to the tea party."

"yeah maybe i just have to run some errands first"

"okay well i might see you later."

"bye Elijah" i hang up and head to the boarding house. when i arrives i shut off the engine and walked in.

"you wanted to see me" i ask Damon who is there with Alaric turn around.

"yes when did you get all buddy, buddy with the Original Vamp?" he got straight to the point typical Damon.

"when he sore to protect m, anything else?" i reply

"what does that even mean"

"it means we have something like he has with Elena except there is not me holing up one end of a barging he has his reasons to protect me and the ones i love. and no Damon you are not going to know there reasons." i explained

"you made a deal with a Original for what in return" i roll my eyes he just doesn't listen.

"there is no deal Damon i don't have to do anything he does that of his own accord now what is that? i ask pointing to the dagger.

"A dagger that supposedly can kill a original." Ric replies

"you are not going to kill Elijah" i state.

"no I'm gonna find out his game plan the kill him" i pin him to a wall.

"no one and i mean no one is going to kill Elijah" i hiss at him and he throws me off

"Calm down mini Barbie, if i promise no one will kill him will you chill out" i nod
