I laid in bed, staring blankly at my ceiling. I had my math homework to work on still, but I was still shaken from June's...actions? I sighed and sat up, my first day at my school ended with quite the bang.

"Nina~I'm going out for a bit! You're in charge of dinner tonight!"

I got up and walked out of my room to look down the stairs, my mom was their smiling. "I got you mom, have fun." I waved and sat on the top step, watching her go.

Knowing my mom, she was probably going to some party. My mom was a party animal and wild, she even dyed her hair bright red, it still looked awesome on her. I kinda wish I had inherited such a daring personality, instead my mom told me I got my dad's. To be honest I never knew my dad, he disappeared when my mom told him she was pregnant.

My mom said that he was where I got my gentle blue eyes, except I rather have mom's fierce brown eyes. I had my moms brown curls though, that was nice, besides the fact every morning is a war with them.

Shaking my head I stood up and sauntered back to my room, I would start dinner later. I crouched by my backpack and dug through it, finally finding my homework. I finished it in an hour, I didn't get most of it because my school in New York hadn't gotten to this unit, so on some problems I guessed. After putting it away, I decided to make dinner.

The problem is I can't cook, or bake.

Anything that deals with making food, I'm out.

I nearly failed home economics for a reason.

So with doubts and 911 on speed dial, I looked through our refrigerator. I found frozen pizza and I sighed with relief, I wouldn't have to use the stove. I placed two slices in the microwave and watched anxiously. I had once broken a microwave, just because I did something wrong. To this day I don't know what exactly I did, but it broke and my mom was mad so that was that.

After not catching the house on fire I enjoyed what I could of my pizza, and wandered back to my room. I took a shower and changed into my pajama's, then pulled out my phone.

-Unknown Number-

You did something bad today >:(

Now call me stupid, but I thought it was a wrong number, so I told them just that. Then I set my phone off to the side and grabbed my book for Language Arts. I had only read one page before my phone buzzed again.

-Unknown Number-

  I'm very upset with you

I gaped at the message. Okay...I told them it was a wrong number, so why are they still texting me? I sighed and silenced my phone, and put it back on my bedside table. I tried falling asleep but an eerie feeling settled in my stomach, I was up till eleven, and my mom came back. I listen to her singing a song and softly smiled. I felt calm again and closed my eyes.

My mom would always be there, so what's to worry about? Nothing. I can't avoid June, so I'll just ignore her. I can't will math to happen sooner, so I'll just be as patient as I can. So I feel fast asleep.

I woke up to my alarm and on instinct reached over for my phone.

    -Four Messages From: Unknown Number

My eyes widened and I looked around. Who the heck keeps texting me?!
