"I don't wanna pry, but...why exactly did you look like you witnessed murder?" Tilly glanced at me sideways as we walked through the halls.
I frowned, "Complicated subject."
Tilly nodded and stopped in front of a classroom. "It was nice meeting you Nina, but I'm supposed to be using the bathroom, you best get to class." Tilly opened the door and smiled, "See ya later Nina."
"Yeah." I waved halfheartedly, then walked slowly down the hall.
Attempting to wrap my head around everything I decided to skip class and head for a good place to think. There was a storage closet that I could hang out in. I grabbed the doorknob and tested it out, as usual it was unlocked. I closed the door behind and searched around for a light, once one was found I surveyed the area.
There was dusty chair settled in the corner next to a three-legged table. I settled into the seat and leaned against the nearby wall, closing my eyes to think.
June knew something, that much was obvious. However, for some reason she wouldn't-maybe couldn't-say anything due to Brandon. I bit my lip, where did this all connect? The door slowly opened, I jumped up in surprised, however it was only...
"J-Julian!? What are you doing here?"
Julian smiled and walked over to me, he tapped my shoulder and beckoned me to follow him. Hesitantly, I followed, for the most part I could trust Julian. I wished he would talk though, I felt awkward just walking in silence.
"Julian, what do you know about June and Brandon?" I wrung my wrists, glancing at the blond in questioning.
Julian frowned and turned his head towards me, I could just infer that talking about that specific pair is not a good idea. I quickly muttered a 'sorry' and laughed nervously. We ended up at my classroom, apparently Julian thought my education was more important than my mental state.
"Thanks Julian, but I don't want to really attend class right now..."
Julian shook his head and gently pushed me towards the door. To humor him I opened the door, but he stayed put until I walked in. The class immediately turned to look at me as if I'd committed a murder, my teacher looked at me with disappointment.
"Miss Foster, you have an excuse slip?"
I looked down, biting my lip. "No, I don't."
"Very well, at least you showed up, take your seat."
I nodded and hurried to sit down. Once I sat down everyone went back to their own business, I slumped in my seat looking at the clock. I guess my count down till math would begin.
