My eyes slowly flutterd open, I sighed quietly. The music was still playing in the background I rolled over, not wanting to remember what happened last night. I stretched out my arm and it hit some thing... a CD? I picked it up and examined it, There was nothing written on it so I just put it in the stereo and a guitar and drum intro played quietly.

I wiped the tears the unexpectedly escaped my eyes. I shut the stereo off as the song ended and rushed to the bathroom to take a shower. I pulled my hair into a side braid and put on a red tank top that stopped above my belly button and a pair of gray shorts. Complimented by fish nets underneath but they only reach halfway. I laced up my ninja boots that came below my knees, before walking to the dining area. I don't think I'm emotionally ready to face Itachi yet. I'm happy the only people here was Deidara, Hidan, Kakuzu and Sasori were there.

"Morning un," Deidara greeted.

"Hey guys," I acknowledge them nicely, but still not much emotion.

I walked over to the fridge, pulled out a mango, and started peeling it gracefully. I cut it into pieces and went to sit on the couch next to Sasori and Deidara.

"What's new?" I asked casually. 

"Sasori won't agree with me that art is a BLAST!" Deidara complained.

"That's because it's not, art is beauty," Sasori retorted with a glare.

I giggled quietly, "Well, art is about being creative and making something that speaks to someone emotionally . Also it should be something that you make and as long as you appreciate what you did then other people will as well."

The two artist were staring at me while we were blushing.

"What??"

Hidan started laughing hysterically, "They just realized that the female species exists!"

"Why is that?" I asked him.

"The only girl we have been around is Konan and she mostly keeps to herself or she talks to Leader-sama a lot," Hidan replied.

Which reminded me of something. Itachi wasn't the only one missing from the group. Konan, Zetsu and Leader were missing as well. I shrugged it off and watched whatever Deidara and Sasori were doing. It bored me so I went to sit next to Kakuzu. He was counting money?? I looked at it closely.

"Quit eye balling my money girly," He growled.

He glared at me, but all I did was smile.

"It's taking you to long to count that right? You have 7,050,301,294 yen," I said simply.

He looked at me astonished and he closed the two brief cases he had.

"Well it was nice doing business with you girly."

"Where are you going?" 

"That's for me to know and you to never find out," He replied simply.

"He's probably going to the Pachinko's slots again," Kisame said.

"Pachinko's? Are you serious?  Is that what he does with all that money? I'd use it to buy a new sword or kunai or something useful!"

"That's what I'm saying. Heeyy, I like you. You know what it means to be a shinobi," Kisame complimented.

"Trust me you have no idea!" I replied.

Kisame and I started to laugh as Konan and the leader walked into the room

"Reika you will be going on your first mission with Kisame and Itachi. Come to my office for details," He commanded.

I didn't want to argue with the leader after all he was the first one to show me any kindness.

I nodded, "Yes sir."

Kisame and I followed leader into his office and Itachi was already there. He's sharringan eyes piercing my purple ones. I looked away quickly, before Itachi could say anything the Leader started talking.

"You guys will be on a mission to steal a scroll of sealing from the Village Hidden in the Clouds. It will take a while to get to the village, but it is worth it. Prepare to set out later in the day. You are all dismissed except for Reika, I need to speak to you."

Itachi, Konan, and Kisame left the room and I stood there with Leader, silence filling the air. Pein stood up and walked towards me. He was so much taller than me that I had to look directly up. He was so close to my body and I could feel his breath on my face.

"Reika, Please understand that I am sending you on this mission with Itachi because you have many skills that are needed, that the other two don't posses," Pein spoke softly, as he put his hand under my chin and pulled me even closer to him. His face merely inches from mine. My heart started to race.

"Please be careful on this mission. It is your first in the Akatski."

"But not my first mission ever," I gave him a seductive smirk and he grinned.

"You know seducing the leader is strictly forbidden in the Akatsuki??"

"Well you should be punished for doing the same for seducing a member right?" I teased.

Where was this coming from all of a sudden? Well there was no stopping now. I liked Pein's body being close to mine. It made something inside me spark. Pein leaned in slowly and brushed his lips against mine. It was soft and light. He moved his hands down my waist and my arms wrapped around his neck to deepen the kiss. He licked my lower lip asking for an entrance. I almost said yes until there was a knock at the door. Pein's sigh caused me to giggle. He opened the door and Konan was standing on the other side.

"We have the new assembly that we need to get started on," She stated matter of factly. 

"Is that so?? Well then Reika talking to you was most interesting, I've learned a lot about you but if you could please excuse us."

"It was a pleasure talking to you to leader. I shall be on my way." I bowed and left his office as Konan stepped in. I wasn't that far away so I could overhear what she was saying.

"It was awfully quiet for you two to be talking."

"Did you forget my office is sound proof? Where you trying to eavesdrop?" Pein replied angrily.

I laughed quietly to myself as I walked down the hallway and I tripped and almost fell! I went to the dinning area and sat with Deidara

"Why are you red un? Are you sick?" He asked concerned.

"No, Im fine."

We played card games for a while, before I went to my room. I went to pack for the mission with Kisame and Itachi. When I was done the three of us set out into the forest to retreive the scroll of sealing.

~ ooohh Pein and Reika shared their first kiss!!!! OMG hope Itachi doesn't find out.. Oooh maybe that's foreshadowing something maybe in chapter 15 ;) YOU'LL NEVER KNOOWWW~~
