Pein’s P.O.V.

I was sitting in my office, organizing paper work. There was a knock on my door.

“Come in.”

I looked to the door and saw Itachi walk in. He looked like a dead snow rabbit.

“How long will she be gone?” he asked without removing his eyes from the floor.

I sighed, “ Who knows she could come back quicker than we’d expect or longer. There’s no way of truly knowing,” I replied trying to make him feel better even though I hate his guts. I was honestly too nice to people.

“Why’d she leave?”

“To gain the experience that she needed but was not able to receive from being here at the hideout.”

He left without another word. I took a kunai out of my desk and threw it as hard as I could at the door. I hated Itachi… I hated him with a passion. He has Reika’s heart and that will never change. He would always get so depressed when she would leave, like his world was ending. Why couldn’t he be strong like me? The strong man that she truly needs in her life. I could protect her, I don’t worry as much, I know she’ll come back, I’d put my life on the line for that girl. No, woman. The light filled my dark room and I took my head off the desk to see who was there. It was Chesire. She was on one knee.

“How can I help you Chesire,” I asked trying to hide my aggravation.

“Pardon me for intruding leader, but there are Leaf Village ninja on their way here,” She spoke.

“Tell Sasori and Deidara to be on guard.”

“Sir, we have estimated their time in being here until a week before we plan to attack the Leaf,” Chesire corrected herself.

“How do you know that?” I asked confused.

“I infiltrated the leaf and overheard three ninjas talking about it.” Chesire explained.

“Alright, There will ultimate supervision of the base. Tell Deidara to get a clay bird in the air and circle the borders. Also immense training until the day of the invasion. Got it?”

“Yes, Sir.” And with that she left

I really hope that Reika comes back before then.

Reika’s P.O.V.

Alfonse and I were standing in a clearing and only nature had surrounded us. The artificial sun beaming down on my skin, and Alfonse stood calmly, gripping his cane.

“Well then my apprentice, you will learn the true art of being a ninja, but first you must control your chakra,” Alfonse began.  “You will learn to replace the bad chakra in your body with the good chakra and once we start this process, there is no going back. Do you understand?”

“Yes, Alfonse,” I replied.

“Good,” he sat down in meditating position and put his hands in the sign ox. I did the same.  “First, you will open the chakra of pleasure, this is blocked by guilt. To release this guilt you must let go of the pain you have received from the people you have met in your life and the pain you have caused to them. Mentally… Physically… and Emotionally. This chakra is located in the palm of your hands.”
