Itachi, Kisame, and I were jumping from tree to tree. I needed some sort of entertainment on this long a journey. I made a device back in the Leaf Village that allowed me to play music. I plugged in the headphones and continued jumping trees.

~

Nightfall came and we stopped to front of the Village Hidden in the Sand.

"We need disguises before we walk in here," Itachi spoke.

"No problem," Kisame smirked.

"Hmm," Was my only response.

We all changed into different people. (As seen in the picture above)

We walked into the gates of the Village and the guards greeted us kindly. We searched around the hot, desert terrain for a hotel to stay for the night. It was sweltering hot even for the night time. I hate sweating, it was so dry here that even my tongue was losing moisture. We looked for the nearest and nicest hotel. Once we found a four star Inn we checked in for the night. Kisame and Itachi had their own room and mine was across the hall. I walked in and it was pretty normal sized. I wanted to get all the dirt off of me from the journey so I walked into the bathroom and took a shower, washing all the twigs, leaves and whatever else comes out of the forest from my hair. I looked down as I felt something crawling up my leg. I looked down to see a black widow(o.o). I screamed and ran out the shower. I clutched my chest as I was panting, if there was one thing that scared me the most it was... Bugs. There was a knock at the door.

"Y-Yes??" I asked

"Are you okay? Can you open the door?" The person called from the other side.

I threw on a green tank top and black shorts. I dashed to the door and opened it to see a disguised Itachi.

"Warabi are you okay?" He asked.

I guess that was my pseudonym for this mission.

"Yeah I'm alright Keitaro," I reply simply, coming up with Itachi's pseudonym on the spot.

"I heard you scream all the way in my room. Are you sure?"

"Yeah I'm sure," I try to brush him off.

"Listen about that night---"

I cut him off quickly, "I told you already I don't want to talk about it. I'm only here because Leader ordered me to be on this mission. When I want to hear the truth, I will let you know. I definitely don't want to talk to you about it in this place. Especially not in this place. No, definitely not this place. I will talk to you tomorrow, Keitaro."

I closed the door in his face and walk to my bed and quickly fall asleep.

~ Dawn~

I woke up to a knock on my door. From that simple sign I knew it was time to go. I disguised myself like I did the day before, but with red shorts and a black shirt. I walked out with all of my stuff. Itachi paid for the nightly stay. The guy at the desk looked me over and started to blush. I guess I was attractive even in a disguise. I smiled nicely at him and Itachi glared at the man behind the desk. I giggled it was cute to see Itachi getting jealous. My smile quickly faded as I sighed to myself. I would have to listen to Itachi's story eventually. I decided it would be best to do it at the next rest stop. We continued to walk out of the Sand Village and back into the forests. We hopped trees for several hours. I could tell by the sun that it was already 2 in the afternoon. I jumped to the ground and searched the area.

"I'll go get some water," I offered.

I walked deep into the forest and found a river. It looked pure enough. I started filling the water canisters.

I'll have to listen to Itachi's story some time soon, I can't keep avoiding it. I continued to let my mind wander. Do i still love him? Hmm let me think... I've missed his attitude. His voice is still attractive. My face started getting hot... Am I BLUSHING?! I groaned... I guess I do still have feelings for him but...

A rustling in the bushes pulled me away from my deep thoughts. I turned quickly and threw a kunai at the source of sound. Nothing moved, but at the corner of my eye, I saw a tiny chipmunk run away. I sighed and gathered the water cannisters and walked back to Itachi and Kisame. I handed both of them their canisters, but when I went to hand Itachi his, he held on to my hand and looked deeply into my eyes. I couldn't help but be dazed. His eyes held so many hidden feelings that only I could read. It was the same as when we were younger. The only one to know what Itachi was feeling was Itachi and me. The emotion that was most evident in his eyes was, pain. He wanted me to listen so badly, it was hurting him.

"I-Itachi," I whispered

"We need to depart now. Reika I'll talk to privately later," he replied with no emotion in his voice.

We continued our tree hopping, heading to the Rock Village. The thoughts in my head were lingering around, no matter how hard I tried to push them away. I kept replaying what happened earlier with Itachi in my head. I blushed and buried my face deeper in my Akatsuki cloak. I listened to some music as time passed by aimlessly.
